We've been staying there for years. It's tight but so are all the other campgrounds in the area. The Smoky Mountains National Park is the most visited national park in the nation so its just how it is. The campground typically fills up during the weekend and and empties through the week. We have a river site booked for next year and our own video from this year will be up soon. Its pricey yes but you pay for location pretty much. There are places that are cheaper but to us this one feels like home after staying there almost every year for the last 10 years or so. If we were full time rvers it would probably be different. We typically book a 2 1/2 week stay there a year. Look forward to your other videos..
Thank you! It did have a few cons but we happily found a few campgrounds that we absolutely loved this trip; those reviews will be forthcoming! Stay safe.
I have stayed here before with a small travel trailer and just upgraded to a 40ft monoco windsor diesel. I don't think I want to attempt driving in and out of that very cramed campground. There are other newer cheaper options
We will not be back to this KOA. We were there June 2022 with our 42' fifth wheel. We stayed along the same river in a back in site at their new Premium riverside sites. We tried leaving at 4:00 am but we couldn't make it around the cul-de-sac. Had to back back in to the site and go the opposite direction which we're not supposed to. Had no choice. Way overpriced. Won't be back there again.
Totally understandable! It’s a very pricey and busy area. We have some upcoming videos of Gettysburg, PA and that would be a MUST SEE for us - total opposite of this area. 😊
There seemed to be so many cabins for those without a rv. Thank you for the wonderful review.
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching!
That is cramp

$150 per night and a 3 night minimum... Packed...tight spots...I have to agree with Jim. I would not return.
Nice review guys. keep them coming.

Thank you for sharing your experience! How stressful. 😣 Thankfully we left this KOA and went to Nashville which was a 10/10!
Based on all the videos I have seen on Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, I have now taken that area off my bucket list. Too pricey and too many people

The koa is around 70$ a night now in the winter. It's an awesome place and you should still take a chance :)
