Maul allowed his arrogance to cost him dearly and his legs! Toying with his prey, rather than finishing it off immediately as Vader would have, which of course was Obi Wan.
I like what they did with Maul, there are fans who froth at the mouth for bringing him back but I think it was the right decision, given how much people loved him in Phantom Menace.
Yea he definitely screwed up with Maul. He could’ve been the successor to the Sith throne if handled properly. I think, as Sidious’ true apprentice and not just servant, Maul could’ve taken the Sith to entirely new heights as a legacy with his heritage and knowledge of what came with being born of Dathomir, the Rancor planet! It would’ve been incredible and like you said he could’ve been the catalyst to an entire 9 movie series. Giving the Sith the power of those born on Dathomir would’ve made them an unstoppable force and I think those stories could’ve been beyond beautiful!
Just in case anyone doesn't agree, please remember that Palpatine once said that Maul had more potential than even Mother Talzin herself, yet Mother Talzin actually held off Sidious when he was actually trying.
Full potential maul beats anakin and vader. There’s plenty of people Irl that have more talent and potential than you can imagine but they don’t end up doing anything with it. Anakin just wanted a family and to be happy. Assuming he saved pawdme he would soon stop being a Jedi.
Getting a little off-topic, but the idea of Maul becoming a Sith Warlock kinda makes me think of Cal and Merrin having a child, and that child becomes a Jedi Sage or something (is a Jedi Sage a thing?). A curious thing I kinda hope they explore one day.
I like to think the Knights of Ren are students trained by Maul before his final death. Their knowledge of the Force and battle tactics seem similar to Maul's and we don't know how long the Knights had actually been in existence by the Sequel Trilogy. They make sense as a Maul "project".
What Maul and Palatine and Asuka did not know that the Night Sisters are Cousins to the Sisterhood of Karn. And they fought the renagde time lord Morbuis. Where Dooku was a member in secret.
I think it is also possibility that maul lost some of he's potential because he might have been mentally scarred from losing he's legs and being insane for such a long time.
imagine if they let maul live after his obiwan encounter and continue road to become a true sith and not just an assassin like he started after being discarded by palpatine
I mean he also lost half his body like Anakin. But yeah apprentices arent really taken if they dont have similar levels of potential to their master, they atleast need to be worthy successors Maul is stated to have more potential than his mother Talzin.
Is the way maul was obtained different between canon and legends? In the plageius novel, someone came to palpatine in a market setting, and offered maul to palpatine, the "mother" feared for mauls future under the night sisters, and felt the force in palpatine. But ive also heard you say palpatine came in the night and snatched him up under talzan's nose.
Maul would have, been powerful.I know why palpatine, withheld things from Anakin. He lossed, so much for e abilities with the duel on mustafar, against obi wan.But maul, had way more potential.
Snoke never resonated; just a seat warmer. His lack of back story in the movies made me go... eh. Uncreative. Darth Maul would have been a much more intriguing choice.
@ nah he was all thrust and no vector. All his "talent" focused on meaningless personal vendettas culminating in his ultimate failure; EVER being able to take revenge against his two purposes in life...Obi and Sidious. The best he could ever do is run a little crime ring full of muggles who were too weak against a force user. Lol.
Maul would have been one of the most powerful sith if he wasn’t held back
I already know this is gonna be a banger.
Hope you think so!
Maul allowed his arrogance to cost him dearly and his legs! Toying with his prey, rather than finishing it off immediately as Vader would have, which of course was Obi Wan.
Exactly. Take care of business, on to the next one

Darth maul comics are so freaking amazing 😊

Facts

Much love brother
You as well!

I found this channel about 2 months ago and man what a trip...

It’s a shame we did not see more of Maul in the StarWars films as I think he was a force to be reckoned with & a great character on screen ❤
I think it is also possibility that maul lost some of he's potential because he might have been mentally scarred from losing he's legs and being insane for such a long time.
Interesting. Very interesting.
Good soldiers watch early
Decided to sit back and watch the original 1977 New Hope for my Saturday evening, let’s go ❤
Maul and Asajj, at their full potential, would've been an unstoppable duo.
I shop at the Maul.
Basically what I got from this video is Maul messed around and he found out
Maul was a baddass of a character, done dirty by pencil neck writers.
Factx having Rey park come back for a few minutes of screen time was a slap in the face just like him so called dying in Ep.1
Lucas’ version can still happen. The fans have made some amazing works themselves.
I’m sure I heard somewhere that savage oppress had even bigger potential than maul.
Let’s gooooooo!!!!!!!
I'm here already!
Maul threw many fights he clearly had won due to his arrogance and wanting to see Jedi suffer rather than quickly disposing of a threat.
Sidious was always jealous of maul and Vader's power
imagine if they let maul live after his obiwan encounter and continue road to become a true sith and not just an assassin like he started after being discarded by palpatine
who do you think would win? a full potential darth maul or tulak hord while he's having an off-day.
My dawg SW! Ty 🙏🏼🫡
Your telling me we couldve got a Darth Maul sequel trilogy? Why did you sell it George why!!!!
I mean he also lost half his body like Anakin.
But yeah apprentices arent really taken if they dont have similar levels of potential to their master, they atleast need to be worthy successors
Maul is stated to have more potential than his mother Talzin.
I'm pretty sure palpatine help told him back too
In the cannon book Maul was given to Sidious not taken! Is Plaguies no longer Cannon?
Probably being cut in half
Well it was Darth sidius who Held Maul Back From His REAL POTENTIAL 😂
Is the way maul was obtained different between canon and legends? In the plageius novel, someone came to palpatine in a market setting, and offered maul to palpatine, the "mother" feared for mauls future under the night sisters, and felt the force in palpatine.

Yes.plageius is no longer canon
I can’t see the full title.
When I click on it, is gets even shorter with the … at the end
He was trained as a sith assassin not as a Sith Lord if memory serves
The answer is sidious lol my personal opnion
NNNNNNOOOOOOO
What is your point with these comments, mentally ill?
Yeeeeeeeesssssssssssss
@@Voldemort22I think it’s a disappointment at being late to the stream
DOWN WITH DISNEY!!!
Maul would have, been powerful.I know why palpatine, withheld things from Anakin. He lossed, so much for e abilities with the duel on mustafar, against obi wan.But maul, had way more potential.
What is the ambience?
OST?
Snoke never resonated; just a seat warmer. His lack of back story in the movies made me go... eh. Uncreative. Darth Maul would have been a much more intriguing choice.
Snoke should have been reanimated Plagueis. That would have been interesting.
Am I the only one who thinks that Maul should’ve stayed dead instead of reemerging in TCW?
Ur everywhere..
Maul was a dumb grunt never destined for anything other than the minor roles he held.
Hey yo what the fuqu! He was a cool guy
@ nah he was all thrust and no vector. All his "talent" focused on meaningless personal vendettas culminating in his ultimate failure; EVER being able to take revenge against his two purposes in life...Obi and Sidious. You dont read much, do ya? Lmao. 😂😂 kids lol.
