Schiehallion | Iona Lane

- Опубліковано 24 сер 2024
- Inspired by the Schiehallion Experiment of 1774 when scientists used the shape and location of the Grampian mountain to calculate the density of the Earth for the first time. After a summer of calculations, the scientists joined locals for a party in a nearby bothy. Apparently the fiddler player got so drunk that they burnt their fiddle and the bothy to the ground.
Funds from the sale of the single will go to the John Muir Trust (www.johnmuirtr...) to maintain and restore mountain woodland on Schiehallion.
