Thank you for posting this very helpful video. I did have to get one screw drilled out to open the cover. That must be the security screw Livingsaint mentioned. I clean the noisy fan with a toothbrush and rinsed it under water then dried it with a hairdryer. It is now running silent.
This video helped me fix my humidifier! I wondered where those damn screws were (the ones under the rubber feet), and accessing it there and fiddling with it a little fixed the issue. Thank you, Much Ado!
The one I bought seems not available on amazon, these 24V 0.10A fans are similar- 1. www.amazon.ca/WINSINN-Cooling-50x50x15mm-Extruder-Makerbot/dp/B079BPS9Q8 2. www.amazon.ca/SoundOriginal-50x50x15mm-Humidifier-Aromatherapy-Replacement/dp/B0755BY9RH

Glad to hear it was helpful!
You forgot to mention that you need one security Torx T10 bit 3" long to open the cover. The other screws are standard screws.
Thank you for this i used it again!
You're welcome!
It's a shame they intentionally make them to only last a few years. Greed will end this planet.
Agreed
Agree. I’ve had these. The first one lasted 4 years and the second 5 years. Everything is disposable….
My fan start and stops within 5 sec so is it fan issue or something else ?
That can very well be a power issue, my fan wasn't working at all. I am no electrician so cannot make a concrete comment on this. All the best.
Link to fan?

Mine just started doing this too
If you manage to find the fan then replacing is very easy. The replacement may not be as strong as the original but it gets the job done.
My buttons stopped working after washing it
Water damage
@@muchadoaboutnothing1907 yeah. Am I doomed? Is there any way to fix this?
@@BuddyMac69 very low chances of success. you may want to open it and try to dry the circuits. see ua-cam.com/video/RhfV4SxDEQU/v-deo.html
