- The Acer Aspire 5 always was a great budget laptop for productivity and low-end gaming. The 2022 refresh that has a 12th gen Intel i5-1235U CPU and an MX550 dGPU, feels like a major upgrade in the games we've tested so far.

Are you add some new thermal paste. my acer aspire 5 have same specs like you, but my temperature goes to 70°c - 88°c.
Can you test Lethal Company with this computer?
I have noticed that the gpu temperature doesn't go above 69° so its thermal throttling even tho its tdp is around 90° so u can you go in the bios and increase the thermal throttle temperature and gain a lot more performance?😳👀👀👀

cpu iss being undervolted to 12.5 w,when the minimum tdp of the model is supposed to be 20w , expect heavy cpu throttling ,its 10 nm anyway

It depends on the game, but usually maybe one hour or so. Maximum one hour.

i have the same specs on aspire 3 but my fps is too lower than that. Mx550 2Gig, 8Gig 3200mhz ram ,nvme 512 ssd, i5-1235u. and i always play plugged in.

Change your thermal paste, maybe its overheating.

First of all, please contact us on discord for a quicker response. We have not made any changes to laptop, the room temperature was 26 C. IF yours started to have bad thermals, you might need to change the thermal paste. Use a premium one, like Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut.

It really depends on the model, some models have backlighting.
@@Notebcom yeah i just got my laptop , and it has . Actually i'm happy with this laptop except the fact that i really didnt like its battery performance. It lasts around 2 hours and i dunno if it's normal or not.
