Honestly thank you so much, this was well and truly needed! I have hated my first year of uni so far, like I haven’t enjoyed even one part of it and “You don’t need to have gotten anything out of this year” is the most useful thing that anyone has said to me all academic year! ❤️

I'm in my third year and I was lucky to have my first year the way it was but honestly my best and most fun semester (we have semesters here) was my third one, so my second year of uni before covid started :) So don't worry guys you still have a lot of opportunities to experience uni :)
I myself have the problem that we got online exams now that are extremely hard and because of that I probably won't get a first class degree anymore and with 2.1 I probably won't get accepted for a masters degree :(
Thank you for sharing definitely true! I wouldn’t lose hope for Masters though, the online exams aren’t ideal for sure but keep going and working for the requirements! Best of luck :)
I got an email last week saying that all graduations have been cancelled this year (so no graduations for 2020/2021 grads) and it’s so upsetting! As my parents said they could have at least delayed it by a year or something rather than just cancel it completely. They said it’s likely we’ll have an online one and maybe a small in person on campus one if the government allows it but the tone of the email seemed very uncertain! I haven’t celebrated my education since my year 11 Prom but I will deffo try to do something nice in the summer to celebrate finishing education ☺️
I definitely felt that coming and hoped for the heat below that it wouldn’t, but having gone through it I promise you’ll find a way to celebrate anyway and put the pressure on the Uni to EVENTUALLY do a real something! X
