Remember first seeing Pitt when he was a young kid, and thinking here we go again, another pretty boy. Never imagined he would one day become one of my favorite actors.
His ability to play a Pikey is underrated! I know, I've met a few. Much as I generally dislike Pikey's (for very good reason) Pitt actually has me routing for one! That is no small achievement, as you would appreciate if you knew my history.

Terrific movie. “All bets are off” is my favorite but the fight scenes were incredible. Unfortunately, they left out the shrug from the second fight. Terrific moment.
Man 13 years ago, i m old😲. Snatch, lock stock and two smoking barrols, layer cake and the Gentleman are my favorit movies. Love all Dialogs, Soundtrack and Actors🤟🏻
Such a fucking legendary break through film. Guy Ritchie is a fucking legend Well done. Even now this film is just as fresh and fast witted as it was when I watched it at the cinema.
Since they know from the outset that he’s an amazing one-punch machine who doesn’t take orders, and since no one else in the crowd seems to know any of this (judging by the boos), why don’t they just use that knowledge to bet on him taking the other guy down in the first round? Whole premise makes no sense.
Before the first fight they don't care who he is ("I don't care if he's Muhammad I'm hard Bruce Lee" - Brick Top just wants his fighter to win). But after the first ko it is wiser to bet against him to gain more since everyone now knows his ability.
What you say absolutely makes zero sense. Why would you bet on him, if you own him?! You already killed his mother to prove that point. Why would you ever believe, he now is not afraid of you.
The replies above are missing my point. My comment relates to the first public fight in the ring. The protagonists (and, by extension, Brick Top) know that he's an amazing fighter before the first public fight, because they've seen him obliterate their friend in a barn. However, no one in the crowd knows this and they boo him mercilessly. Therefore, there should be fantastic betting odds for him to win by knockout in the first minute, yielding a huge windfall. Approaching it as they do (i.e. treating him like any other random boxer that they know nothing about) makes no sense whatsoever. I agree that by the last public fight at the end of the movie, it makes more sense to bet against him on the basis that (a) he'll follow your orders since you murdered his mum [although one could argue he might not take that lying down based on literally everything else he has done throughout the film], and more saliently (b) his fighting prowess is well known to all so you get better odds on him to lose.
I love the fact hes just putting on a show..even to turkish..all hes thinking everytime hes picking himself off the canvas and brushing off the pain is " keep watching me, im burning down your house while your distracted"
yeah the crime boss running it had set up the bets with the visiting other crime bosses that pitt will lose in the forth. After getting a round one ko in his last fight a lot of people would expect pitt to win and the odds would be in his favour, so they would make a nice bundle when he lost. Except pitt bet on himself to win in the forth
*The way he was just quiet when getting knocked clean the fuck out, getting back up and stretching and cracking his bones …just awesome. And when he gets his self together and he is ready, he gave him the best right haymaker to the chin and wins the fight …What a afucking Unit!!!*
Snatch is a masterpiece. Everything. The choreography, sound, narration, cut of the fighting scenes played huge part in it.

he's great in True Romance

I saw Cool World in the theater, so I know what you mean.

Yup, Thelma & Louise ugh. But then I watched True Romance!
Brad does like these odd roles and I appreciate him taking the road less traveled. This flick was a hoot from start to finish.
