I love this one :) Samuel confirmed Ren filmed most of this himself. The original version of this song is an EDM track by Fisher (Australian) - the only words in it were "I'm Losing it". Ren moved some of the beat sections around but all the beats are Fisher.

This entire song and MV is an ode to the movie Fight Club :) His songs Genghis and Skylines are great as are the *bars* in Red Bull Freeverse 64 bars. Love HMK! His cinematographer is also a genius Bijoy Shetty.

He wrote this in 20 minutes apparently :) Project Pat actually came onto his live feed and chatted with him, wants to do a collaboration. You should probably watch through to the end of credits on HMK MV's, he leaves easter eggs at the end :)

In short: Kujo is the beat maker for the song Sick Boi, who Ren bought an unlimited use license from. Except the Bulgarian choir sample was not cleared - essentially Kujo stole it - and when the song blew up the choir was like WTF. Kujo started - the very first thing he did to raise this issue for Ren - is copyright strike the Sick Boi song on YT. This is a serious threat for any content creator because you only get 3 of this type of strike then your channel is gone. Ren has spent months trying to deal with this in good faith, and Kujo and his girlfriend (who went as far to falsify then publicise contracts) have done nothing but stir sh*t and demand far more for something Ren doesn't owe anything for. Apparently the people in white represent the Bulgarian choir and they die at the end because without their sample the song Sick Boi is dead (I read this from someone else's comment). I think he said in his earlier post and his comment on this video that he would sue their asses off as part two if this isn't the end of it. When this one went viral YT management released the Sick Boi song and is treating the copyright strike as false until it's settled legally.

Oh my, you're in for a ride! I first saw "Hi Ren" about a year ago, and I was hooked! Chinchilla is another fabulous artist to check out! She and Ren have a few collabs on here. "Chalk Outlines" "I Put A Spell On You" and "How To Be Me" are perfect places to start for her introduction. "I Put A Spell On You" was a tryout for "Britain's Got Talent" or "The X Factor." You'll see another side to Ren, and fall in love with his musical sister, Daisy.. aka Chinchilla. Then check out "Fingers, Live" by Chinchilla, and also "Little Girl Gone (official music video)" "Seven Sins" by Ren you'd love, also the Money Game trilogy, and "The Tale of Jenny and Screech"! But you MUST watch "The Tale of Jenny and Screech" in order! There's Jenny, Screech, and Violet. Trust us. You won't regret it. Ren and Chinchilla also have busking videos posted, which are fabulous, but I prefer the ones I mentioned. Edited for clarity

Just started watching your Ren journey, and I'm so curious where you'll go. A great option for the que would be the introductory track of the Sick Boi album, titled "Seven Sins." Quite powerful and sets up the concepts explored in the album, i.e. the many ways one can be "sick." I don't have a sense yet of what you'd like, but he's got a really diverse catalog - from deep & meaningful to cheeky and light-hearted. (If you ever need something light, try "Power," "What You Want," "Ocean," "Uninvited," or "Murderer" - as a start 😉). You mentioned book suggestions in a couple of videos. What kind of books are you interested in? I mostly read urban fantasy, PNR and classic literature. If you're going to continue down the Ren rabbit hole, you might want to check out (or reread) George Orwell's "Animal Farm." It's short, but packed with symbolism. It would also prepare you for Ren's "Animal Flow." (You certainly don't have to know Orwellian philosophy to understand the song/video, but it's a richer experience if you do.)
