My toxic trait is seeing excited people working with materials and techniques that are new to me and being like YEAH I WANNA DO THAT TOO. Girl I can't pick up another material yet but your drive is so contagious! And your pieces are so beautiful😍 Can't wait for another video!
Same but I came to an important decision that it’s just safer for the world if I don’t use active flame and fire 😂 shards of glass sure.. open flame? Nope too much of a klutz 😂
@@sarahmiller9188 this is why I can't get into stained glass. I would love to learn and get into it, but I have pretty bad dyspraxia and totally would end up with cuts and embedded glass shards constantly.
Your channel is improving just as fast as your glass working skills! Give yourself a check mark on your youtube skill tree, because your speaking pace is on point! 🌷
Your videos are lovely. I am loving how much joy you have while creating the pieces and it’s great to be able to watch the piece develop from start to finish. Those oysters re fabulous
You are such an inspiration! I started my flameworking journey a while ago but i lost heart because i just can't find tools and equipment where i live - it made me so sad to see that it was a dying art - but you have inspired me to dust off my old hothead and make a skill tree too 🙂 thank you
@@trejayne Mmh perhaps it's just me but I personally love to learn more about your skill tree, learning process, machines etc. so perhaps meanwhile you wait for the pieces in the kiln or something you could talk more about that! But I think you're doing just fine!
just discovered your videos, i watch a lot of makers and while I love them all sometimes others don't always show the minutiae of getting something just right, or maybe it's all sped up so you can't really observe it! I really enjoy seeing and hearing your process and watching each step up close like this :)
I am loving your UA-cam channel! Thank you for making these videos! I have been following your pages on Facebook for a while, but I really love the longer videos. ❤️
Oh thank you so much! Any feedback on what you like dislike for longer videos? I’m trying to kinda feel out what works and what doesn’t so constructive criticism would be super helpful! X
I really love both the longer and the shorter ones! I like the frequent peeks that the short ones give, like a little Trejayne top-up. I absolutely love your bubbly personality and your work is gorgeous, so I find the short videos a fun little pick-me-up. 🥰 I really loved the pace of this video. It stayed engaging and interesting to watch the whole way through, and it was great to see the whole process start to finish. I also really liked the details you gave in each step about the types of glass, the techniques you were using, etc. There is honestly nothing I can think of to critique! The best I can think of is that I follow Finders Feeders as well, and I have missed seeing the ink making videos, but I imagine it's hard to find time to manage multiple projects!
I adore your videos & love this new longer format. I've known of Corning in New York State for many years and had a guided tour of their ceramics department many moons ago. Its an amazing place. I love the chess set ❤ it's beautiful 😍. Lamport has fascinated me for many years. I remember an old man in Venice just off St Marks Square making the most amazing figurines in Lamport including a comedia del arte and a motzart orchestra ❤❤
You should totally do a video on what a small space home glass working equipment people should start with because I would love to do glass blowing/glass project but I don't know where to start for beginner equipment
Omg.. This is soo pretty. Btw, I was looking at a video of yours and came across a short by the glass florist. She has a different method of making the flowers which seems easier(though I wouldn't actually know), if you are still struggling with the flowers of have to make a lot. 😊
These are so absolutely cute! Your videos have become something my kiddo and I watch together before her bedtime. She loves watching you shape the glass and I'm so glad she can have a consistent model for how to deal with things going wrong in a calm way. Thank you so much for all your lovely videos!
My first time seeing your video 😮 I am amazed. I'd like to say without sounding creepy... You are amazingly beautiful 🙈 beautiful voice beautiful eyes beautiful talent.
Love it!!! Yes, make a larger one! Thank you for explaining all the glass types and showing the detail of your process making the shape. After the short, i was so curious and thought maybe you mixed the glass somehow to marble, but it makes sense that rods are available for that look. Will you be getting different oxidizing glass for future projects? That one's really cool looking!
I found the glass grinder you use on Amazon and before I get it, I was wondering if you had shop links to get a kick back? Since your stuff inspired the side art from my stained glass.. I figured I should attempt to support.. thanks!
I love your content so much and I'm very glad you're sharing all of your experience on here. I myself am a soon to be glasblower. My training starts in August this year and I could really need some advice. I also wanted to ask if you had any tips on how to spin the glas stick so easily 😊
🦪🔥TIP: for the freeze and fuse... after about an hour out of the freezer, you can just add a 1 hour hold at about 200F/90C to your kiln schedule to finish drying the peices. Unless they are large or very thick that should be plenty. Speeds up the process a bit.
Maybe you could use a little bit of heat from the torch to bend the back of your glasses so they don’t slide down as much every time you kept adjusting them every few seconds. I kept thinking you were going to burn your face or hands.
Do you know if there's a way to have captions available, but not present on the video the whole time? I've got my CC turned off and I'm still getting captions... and my strange brain goes "read the words!" And then I miss the pictures! 😵💫
i like ur work but can u not make the video like an tiktok edited video where it chop off at 30 second max and onto the next thing?? its a pain to watch

Wow that really does look like a black pearl! Beautiful work, thank you for sharing.
I absolutely obsessed with Alice and wonderland, you've done fantastic so far. I can't wait to see it all complete!
I love watching your process and progress, it's so interesting,, and the oysters came out beautifully
Thank you! Any notes of how to make the longer videos better??? I don’t have much reference as to what is interesting vs what isn’t 😅❤️

Oysters could be fun for Bishops cause the bottles should be castles
Agreed
You've got a meeting with the Corning Museum?!! Oh my gosh, how exciting!
my younger sister does glass and ceramics at university and watching ur videos makes me excited for what she could possibly do in the near future :)

I am loving this longer video. I've been watching on other channels for quite some time, and your enthusiasm is contagious
I enjoyed watching this! I would love to see more UA-cam videos! This was so calming and interesting to watch 💜 the oysters turned out stunning!
I appreciate your vibes

I’m loving this series lately! So informative and well made ❤️
These are my favorites by far. ❤
I love the oysters too! They are so cute! I would definitely buy a larger one just to have on my desk!

Awesome work and it is nice to see some soft glass work. Can 8 please ask for a tut on how you Lazer engraved the chess board. Thank you
The imperfection on the oysters make them look more real. Just saying. Love your work.
Im so with you. The imperfections makes them so much more realistic.
Great Videos!

Omg Corning is 3 hours from my house!!! It’s wonderful there I hope you get to come and see it😍😍😍
This looks so fun, I'd love to work with glass👍👍😁
Love your channel. Can you tell me what glass rods and colors are you using?

Doesn’t the heat affect the filming product you use? (i.e caméra , phone)
So technically you need some sort of convex mold for the shell? I wonder if there is some type of DIY solution to use instead.
Yeah like a graphite round thing would be ideal!
Love your vidoes hello
From california
Love the work. I wish you didn't use so many cuts. It's rather distracting
She’s making shorts/TikToks then she’s uploading all of them for a UA-cam video.
reducing flames bring out the metal in colours, you're lowering your oxygen in the clip, providing a more neutral/reducing flame, no?
Can I email you. I have lot of questions. This is something absolutely have to. I’ve fell in love with it.
I was wondering if this would come together to make a full chess set or if you’re just practicing. Either way they are very cute.
How much for half a dozen of just the little oysters? No base or anything, just the little oyster friends with their pretty pearls.
I will make them next week and let you know ☺️
@@trejayne I'm looking forward to it! They are so cute!
You should upload more videos!❤
25:20 lmao
Are you going to make enough pieces to play chess?
Very interesting...but way too may cuts in the video
