Beautifuly layed out and presented, letting music talk instead of narrating everything. I so wish I had a saxophone right now... :) Thanks for sharing!

Right? It's so simple but even the good channels don't get it:
Don't make videos like those about yourself! DON'T! We hate it!
I don't need a commentary on the notes. "Now I play a diminished F minor". Yes, good for you, show me the sheet and I can see it perfectly fine myself. "Now put the little finger on the C and raise the middle finger ..." Naaaaerrgh! Just tell me the choooordddtttt.
      Show the overall result first.
      Show the freakin' sheet.
      Break it into parts.
Do it slowly ONCE. I know how to repeat a section in a youtube video, thank you.
Any commentary should be text. I don't care for the wisenheimer stuff you learned at music school when I'm practicing a lick. Put it at the END of the video. No blargh-blargh at the beginning.
So. Simple. And David is the only one who gets all of this right.

Try using walking basslines then. They take decent finger independence, so if you drill them and drill different chords/exercises that you make on top of the walking bassline, making sure to keep your fingering consistent, you'll see improvement.

I to usually favor the C key when reading music. it's the closest thing to.C. I tried this before commenting..Amin..G F
E seem to be the chords. I do these chords on Spanish guitar...
Anyways the G# is the only note
that is a accidental and is necessary for the E chord. I have
played piano over 40 years..on and
off..I was a poor note reader.. Struggled in classical music. gravitated to.C G F ..
