I live in Tucson, near Gates Pass. You did a really great job of seeing a lot in just 3 days. You picked some excellent spots, too. The food here, especially Mexican food, spoils you completely. There's plenty more for you to find. Breakfast at Barista del Barrio, or lunch/dinner at Teresa's Mosaic Café or El Antojo Poblano, to name a couple. A later dessert could include a raspado from Funland (it's a Mexican restaurant, not an amusement park). For day trips, you picked a great one. Another great one is to head to the Superstition Mountains--Lost Dutchman, a mining ghost town, and the Boyce Thompson Arboretum are all in that vicinity. DM if you come back and want any specifics. Good job.
You guys jammed a lot into your visit. If you come again, you can ask this local for a couple of suggestions. Some great food, gardens, history...worth visiting again for sure.
Tucson was my first duty assignment in the Air Force way back in 1972. I worked on the Titan missile there.Beautiful town and the desert is amazing. Best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Been back numerous times.
@@JeanieMarie I’d move there in a heartbeat but my better half is not a fan of the desert. My daughter is a fan also. Tucson just draws me back. I will eventually end up there. And you guys would love it!
@@leegarza3986 Same! We LOVE the desert so much. Definitely see a future for us there. Fingers crossed for you too! Tucson would be a great place to call home.
@@JeanieMarie I’ve got em crossed too! And if you go there , check out the Titan II missile museum in Green Valley. I worked on the top level on the RV. And Sabino canyon ( my hangout on weekends in my younger days!). So much to see and do there.
I've lived in the Philly (PA) region all my life, and I'm considering moving to Tucson...I enjoy the SW - the desert atmosphere (including cacti 🌵), architecture, culture (particularly Hispanic influence)...thanks so much for the video🙂...
@@JeanieMarie Thanks...and you're welcome...if we end up becoming Tucsonans, then maybe we'll bump into one another...my rite-of-passage might be to hug a cactus😋...
@@JeanieMarie Haha...hmmm, I'll need to think twice about hugging a saguaro - with its "arms", should I be concerned it might (have a natural reaction mechanism causing it to) hug me back?!!...the organ pipe cactus may be safer...heehee...
I love the desert it calls to me! I also love the mountains and ocean quite a bit and I cannot figure out where I want to live because I like them all so much but the big problem is the fu@*ed up prices all of the places I’d like to go! I work for the airline and fly free so I can visit a lot of places but when I consider moving somewhere the costs usually scare me off
There is a few stray kitties off Broadway and N Beverly at the At Home parking lot that need help if anyone is in the area. They are grey and white. They come out around dusk on the the side of At Home. Had to leave to help out my mom:( I could pay anyone that can prove they feed them
Here’s a little advice, Ma’am. Slow down the cuts of the scenery. This whole video seems to be, You needing to be the main focus. We all know what you look like, so we don’t need to see Your face, hogging the clips of scenery. Also, you missed a crucial element of Tucson’s attractions, being the Sabino Canyon drive, up to Mt. Lemmon.

I feel like Tucson should be recognized as a top Foodie spot. Literally, best food.
I couldn't agree more! Seriously some of the best food ever!
It officially is: "Tucson proudly claimed the spotlight as the first UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy in the U.S. in December 2015."
