Jeff Wise That Detroit makes way more power per cubic inch than any cat ever made in that era of Diesel engines. 2 cycle Detroit’s were designed in the 1930’s and weren’t replaced until the 90’s. Not a single Cat or Cummins engine has ever came near that life span.
No gentlemen that's a 671 GM so either a Euclid C6 or Terex 82 30 so while that motor put up big HP numbers, I suspect that in real life applications this tractor most likely would have fallen into Cat D6 b ,D6C category, I believe mostly based on the tractor weight
