Stellar episode, Sean and thanks for all of the shout-outs and links to my channel! Love you too, my friend and I might just hop a train one of these days to Chicago to share a meal with you! Keep up the marvelous content!
Appreciate you and your videos very much, Marty. Those tenderloins are sooooo hilarious to watch you reveal. You just never know how massive and ridiculous they’re gonna be. I can’t get enough. Keep doing what you do. Excited to break bread with you in the future. Have the best weekend 🔥🤍
@@HeySeanEly Thanks, Sean, I look forward to meeting you and to try and talk you into moving to New York City! Love your videos and adventures and I'm thrilled to be a small part of the ride! Have a fun time in Portland!
I love a fried bologna sandwich. Especially with a fried egg. My fave way is to add the bologna and egg after they’re cooked into a grilled cheese. Hahah. 🎉🎉🎉🎉 You’re 100% correct about the bomb regional sandwiches. The Muffuletta is one of the greatest sandwiches ever made. There’s a video from either Eater or Munchies this past week showing how to make one and man did it make me miss Louisiana.
@@darcydeming8565 it’s legit. I’d stake my Southern Card on it. It’s like the Tennessee version of a Taylor Ham/Pork Roll sandwich. Also if you use a higher quality bread, good melting cheese, and bologna it’s even better. I like mustard and ketchup and hot sauce on mine. But I’m going through a weird sauce kick lately. :)
@@AkodoNoEyes all good dude. i would love to try it! what kinda cheese do you recommend if i may ask? im down w ketchup and hot sauce and maybe some mayo but i can't do mustard.
@@darcydeming8565 for the cheese a “top shelf” American cheese. I usually try to find a good deli section where they’ll cut the cheese (lololoolol) on a 4 (it’s double the thickness of a Kraft single). Surprisingly the Land O’ Lakes yellow American from a deli is delicious. Also Colby/Monterey Jack, Havarti, Munster, Provolone are good with it. You can go slice or shredded. If you do shredded get a bar of cheese and grate it yourself as it’ll melt better. As for Bologna. I’m all about any brand. But personal faves: Boars Head (usually it’s pork or beef), Hebrew National, WunderBar (probably my fave easy to find deli bologna), And Seltzer’s bologna. How you cut it is up to you. I prefer it mid thick so I can fry up a few and stack them in my sandwich. Bread wise it all depends on personal choice. Pickles are goood with the sandwich as it adds texture and the brine helps cut through the fatty taste. Try mixing ketchup, mayo, and your fave hot sauce into a fancy sauce for it. :) Regardless you’re gonna love the sandwich. Whether the bread is toasted, grilled, or straight from the pack it’s gonna taste great. :)
@@AkodoNoEyes dude thank you so much i have a small deli here where i live i'm all about some colby/ jack or meunster! pickles are so great on anything! and a rémoulade sounds amazing and im so gonna have to grill it!
My parents were from southwest Missouri. We ate fried bologna all the time growing up. Also I saw the Hamm’s beer sign. The only beer my late Father ever drank.

I love a fried bologna sandwich! I grew up on them, they were my dad's go-to when he was making us lunch. As an adult, I make them myself and they are always satisfying (and of course the chips go on the sandwich)!
You’re gonna love it. It’s simple yet divine. Don’t forget to cut a few slits into the bologna so as to avoid it creasing up. Though as a kid I loved when it did that as it looked like a meat bowl filled with meltycheese™️
Republica in Portland had a Bon Apetit video on UA-cam that you may want to check out to see if you'd be interested in it. I'm headed to Asheville, NC in a couple weeks to go to my buddy's restaurant Bone and Broth. Maybe I'll run into Edge and Beth Phoenix?

That’s a bummer because I love when a place has a great unique name and good food. My fave example is a place in Chattanooga called Aretha Frankenstein’s. Best apple butter pancakes I’ve ever had.
at the zoo I work out I sneak Koala bear out of zoo and take them home with me to eat ice cream while I watch nature shows. I then sneak Koala back in zoo next day and no one ever know HAHA I also feed them twizzlers threw the cage and mix sweet tarts into there food dishes.
The only time I was ever allowed to have fried bologna was at my best friends house because I had a health food mom and we couldn’t have anything fun or interesting so I always pretended I wasn’t hungry and I went to Amy‘s house to have cookie crisp cereal and fried bologna and all the stuff that my health food mom wouldn’t let me ever have I went vegetarian as a kid sorry please don’t hate me but I wasn’t vegetarian during the fried bologna years and I can’t believe our parents let us cook on a stove top when we were like I don’t know nine or 10 years old without any adult supervision but they did that’s the 70s for you but yeah the only thing I could say about fried bologna is it taste exactly like a hotdog which I also was never allowed to have anyway I digress let’s get into the video oh PS we never had the fried bologna on a sandwich it was legit just a slice of fried bologna which was totally fine with me

Fried bologna, white bread, mustard. Yes momma and daddy were from SE Kentucky and I went to college in Oklahoma. Boomer Sooner 🌷🌷🌷

Ich mag Schnitzelbrötchen auch! Sie sind immer gut!

Aren't you the same guy that has bees sting moths??

I love the Tenderloin sandwich !!! Problem is it seems to be a Mid-West phenomenon. Not available in Hawaii that's for sure. GGGRRRRRRR
Hawaii does have some good stuff though. The Loco Moco is a personal fave.
I used to love bologna sandwiches now I can't even stand the taste.
I put chips on my sandwiches
