Pretty cool, although I don't own any winter blade co knives i think i like that one the best. Also, the thumb stud is a magnet and is reversible, just poke it out with a tooth pick or the like and swap it over...done and done.
Looks like no one mentioned it and was not in the video… the thumbstud is magnetic and swappable between left/right sides

This thing is so awesome looking and unique its the first higher end knife that i just had to pre-order. I cant wait until they are ready. Really cool stuff.
I immediately like it but want the spine release to be wider. That was my biggest problem with the 20.5 and 20S. After while it becomes slightly uncomfortable compared to the full size AD20. Have you experienced that at all with this knife so far MC?
The thumbstud is also supposed to be magnetic so you can move it to the other side

I like the size of the Factor better, but the Severn mechanism looks a bit nicer, especially for maintenance.
Id be more excited about this if the preorders for the factor b3’s have shipped…. Still waiting. Patiently mind you but iv been excited for it for about 6 months now

Really cool ideas here... so much "Damascus" isn't really any better than mid-tier steel, it just looks cool, this is a super fun approach to design.
Another dream knife to add to the list! I love the size and all the ways of deploying/closing the blade, definitely very fidgety, which is perfect for my ADHD self😂
Looks like another winner from Winter Blade. How did Bryan manage to make/sell the Severn (a bigger knife) at a cheaper price than the Factor? The prices of the Severn are over $100 less than the Factor. Can't wait to get my first knife from Winter Blade.
Probably a different oem. Wasn’t bestech the oem for the factor?
Thanks man! On the price difference, it's the internals.. The Severn is my flagship non magnetic folder (spring based lock) whereas the Factor is purely magnetic... :D Cheers!

It's an expansive axis lock. KOTY must have a real tip. I like cleaver very much, but versatility is not there Is think. I am a fan of their last one, all magnetic, that was innovation !

Don’t know about 2023 release, maybe unveiling. If the B3 is anything to go by this won’t be "actually" released until this time next year 😆

For some reason I will always like the Factor. I would choose factor over Severn... IMO both are absolutely amazing though

The thumb stud is absolutely heart breaking...the past Winterblade Co knives look incredible, why did this one have to grow a wart on its blade? 😭
The material properties of the Severn thumb stud are inorganic, meaning that it can't be classified as a wart.. 😁🙌 The thumb stud attaches magnetically meaning you can remove it without tools - or just put it on the opposite side of the blade where you don't have to look upon it in agony. Cheers! :)

This knife isn't being released until 2024 to the general public. So I don't think you can call it 2023
I honestly don't like the lines on the blade at all. Would much prefer a regular stonewashed or satin finish.
