The latest show sees top tips on weaning the young canaries, young native finches hatching and new colour canaries making their first steps out of the nest.

Hi Matt, i have been watching your program with interest. My father Arthur Johnson was a champion breeder, judge and founder of the Shropshire Salop fife fancy canary club. He was a regular contributor to the cage and aviary magazine in the 1980's along with his friend Roy Stringer, Many of your viewers will probably have my fathers bloodlines in their stud. if you would like to contact me for more info i would only be too glad to have a chat. Kind regards, Steve.
Hi The Canary Room, what does egg food do to the Canaries when they are mating. And why is it so important to give canaries egg food when they are breeding? Thank you!!!
Hi Matt At the minute 26:16 you said that you didn't mark the eggs, what do you use to mark them!!! Some one talld me that I can use nail paint !!! Is that safe for the eggs!!!
New to canaries. I have a pair with just 1 chick 5 days old now. My question is should I leave her to rear the chick on its own or foster it out and let her lay again. I have 2 more pairs with 2 chicks each so can't give her an extra chick? Thanks.
