What a great looking golf course! I always appreciate your videos and course insights, thanks Adam. I can relate to the "keep grinding" philosophy! I played my home course last week and scored 45 on the front 9 which included an 8 on the par 4 but rallied to shoot level par 36 on the back 9. Cheers from South Africa! 👌
Your chipping and pitching are inspiring. I may hit more greens than you do, but you’d still beat me easily! It’s time I take short game practice more seriously.
I didn't, but my gracious host at PGA West told me all about 'em. Told me I was the least demanding of his UA-cam guests, lol. I just ask him if he can help me out with a green fee and he sets it up for me. Waddaguy!
I usually never comment but I'll do it all in one go here. Great attitude on this whole video, it was very enjoyable to watch, people respond very very well to a great attitude like this. Great touch on lowering the volume on the jackpot sound, I think it was a comment in one of the last vids and you listen to your viewer's concerns very well. Sometimes in the past videos it seemed like you where interacting with your 4some like if they were your caddies a bit (asking for distances and course specific tips a lot, telling them about your own shots a lot) to me it made it seem like you may have considered your own game a bit more important than theirs and that would be my only small gripe with past videos (I was debating wether or not to include this in my comment as it's probably just my own personal impression and not actually how people perceived this or how you actually interact with them, also they are often your subscribers or buddies of yours so they probably do care a lot about your game), anyway I thought I'd share this with you because I care about the growth of your awesome channel. Finally, your hybrid may be draw biased (closed at address) my cleveland launcher was and it was very difficult to fade, which I like to do. Perhaps you would like to try the sim hybrids, tried them once and it practically hits itself (I know, weird). Have a great day, congratulation on the awesome growth on the channel!
Great attitude! I commented a few months back about being a new golfer and how much I appreciate the way you play! I am now breaking 100 consistently, barely but doing it. Your game is an inspiration!
Beautiful visuals with the sun in the early morning. Such a good feeling to have a full round done before noon and have the rest of the day ahead of you
its hilarious seeing you bundled up in what must be 60 degree weather, I live in Minnesota and would golf in shorts and a tee shirt in 40 degrees. Y'all are soft lmao, good video tho
Great video as always! I live in Phoenix and not too far from Quintero, that is not an easy course, but its one of my favorites and so very beautiful out there!
I hit much farther than you and hit more greens but you’d crush me haha. Shows you that golf is about consistency and patience. Two things you’re amazing at.
A strategy that helped me get into a more positive mindset towards my score is to set a goal that's divisible by 18: shoot 5 on every hole (for a 90), shoot 6 on every hole (for a 108), etc. This way, if you get that unlucky double on a Par 3, you're still hitting a scoring goal. And, every par (except on the par 5s) helps you get UNDER 90! :)
I love little things like this. My thing is to look back on rounds and tally my best 9 holes and worst 9 holes. It's very common for my best 9 to be even par or a couple under, and my worst 9 to be 9-12 over par. I like keeping that in the back of my mind after going 4 or 5 over through 4 or 5 holes. Helps me remember that it's not a big deal.
im just trying to figure out why i follow through with my shots at the range but dont on the course. confidence? im going to start talking more positive to myself like you do
Cheers. I have to remind myself to do this, too. Like I said in the video, virtually every time I say something positive before hitting a shot, I hit a good one!
Adam, you talk about decade and not being short on approach shots on over half the holes. You also went long zero times. Don't you think you need to club up more? Hit the club that if you hit it really well will be just long. So if 160 to the middle, 180 to the back, you hit your 180-190 club. It would make a good video!
What month did you play this round? I'm playing this course in a couple of weeks and wondering about a very early tee time temperature and carry distances?
I mean, sure, saying your range tops out at 106 sounds bad, but saying the low is 71 is super impressive! Plenty of people can say the former, not many the latter.
Since watching your content started breaking 90 consistantly at my home course in Sf. Itd b cool if u made a video playing there, it is one of the oldest courses ever and has a great view of the bridge.. Lincoln Park. Locals call it stinkin lincoln but i love it
Another good video! I'm enjoying the more consistent uploads. I'm hoping to either play 9 or 18 holes this weekend, but it's supposed to rain, so we'll see.
@Not A Scratch Golfer yeah, that would be great!! Fair warning, I'm not very good (probably about a 25-ish unofficial handicap on easier courses, but I have been practicing and working on improving that as I can.
@Not A Scratch Golfer I ended up playing 18 holes (9 2x) at a local course. I seem to be a front 9 player. Shot 46 and 55. Without any penalties or re tees, I would have been at 85, so I'm getting better for sure. If I can get off the tee safe, I can do alright. I just need to work on my longer clubs and hitting off the tee. I know what to work on, though.
Any reason you rarely pull the flag on those 2-3 footers? You seem to be missing past the flag and I've found with myself it's because you subconsciously try and putt into the empty part so basically half a hole suddenly. Just a thought from a crap golfer.

I would like to acknowledge that the transition from pulling your ball on 1 and teeing up on 2 was flawless
Was hoping somebody would notice. Appreciate ya ;)
I didn’t notice until it was pointed out but that was awesome
Oh wow you’re right. I like that!
for somebody whos not scratch you taught me most about the game its self and not just swinging clubs. deff upped my game sense subscribing
Love this, Richard!
Stoked for whenever there's a meetup
I love playing golf first thing in the morning.
Great video Adam
Thanks!
Well done to maintain your focus after the bad start. Many a round has been ruined with a start like that.
Golf is a never ending challenge to be better, this is the reason why i love it. I love your content
Found your channel recently, you are an inspiration for me and others. Loved the videos with “The Playa In Chief “!

Class video yet again Adam. You are the zen king of the average golfers!
Love Mountain course.
These videos are making me want to make another trip down to Palm Springs to play this course again!
Yeah, this is my favorite course at PGA West.
Your chipping and pitching are inspiring. I may hit more greens than you do, but you’d still beat me easily! It’s time I take short game practice more seriously.
Thanks :) A lot of pitch and putt hours have helped my short game immensely.
I love this content and your positive attitude towards gold, immediate subscribe
Thanks, Aidan!! Glad to have ya here!
did you see good good and bob there?

0:53 The transition of picking your ball up on #1 to teeing up on #2 was seamless
Two people noticed. Love it!
Yo, that driver swing looks fluid! Nice work! What are the new swing thoughts that have helped make it happen?
Thanks! No major changes, although my friend/coach Gordon made a little grip change (ua-cam.com/users/shortsiDtQt3fIDgg?feature=share).
Beautiful visuals with the sun in the early morning. Such a good feeling to have a full round done before noon and have the rest of the day ahead of you
Bro. You make it look easy. I wish my short game was as good as yours
Cheers. My short game was cultivated entirely by playing pitch and putt.
Hi Adam!
Hey!
Where is the Bandon Dunes video lol
At long last, they're coming!!! First of them is coming next week!!
@@NotAScratchGolfer yes!!! Thanks man
its hilarious seeing you bundled up in what must be 60 degree weather, I live in Minnesota and would golf in shorts and a tee shirt in 40 degrees. Y'all are soft lmao, good video tho
Lol! I think it was in the 40s when we teed off, but I'm not going to argue with a guy in Minnesota about who plays colder golf :p

First! Adam got the fresh kicks!
Won these at a tournament and absolutely love them! Even more than my Nikes!

like the on pace score addition
Good Good and BDS just played here! Great course.

Love your golf insight and vlogs so much! So interesting and deeper than just saying what you're hitting. Great stuff!
I really like the "on pace score" you put under your scorecard.
Rounds like these always seem to end with a birdie, just to keep you coming back.
So so true
What month did you play this round? I'm playing this course in a couple of weeks and wondering about a very early tee time temperature and carry distances?
These vids are so calming
Thx!

Doesn't hurt to lie either.
awesome video man! Your scores are really impressive for your distances. Really inspirational to watch bro, love it!
Hey man, in your future videos, can you share how much you putt per 9 holes? i'm really curious how I stack up.
Just subscribed and love the content!! Any thoughts on starting up a merchandise shop?
Great videos but art is just money laundering, the original NFTs
a good short game will be the difference between 100 and 85. good stuff!
Who’s here after watching bds and good good video at pga west
Who did it better? :p
"Most amateurs miss short" YES! Club up!
Wow, what an improvement with the driver!
It definitely runs hot and cold.
Didn’t good good just play this course?

50% of the time it works every time.

That's too long a work day! How do you have time for golf? :p
@@NotAScratchGolfer now tomorrow can be a 4 hour day. :D
Have you played at Wolf Creek yet? Such a fantastic course!! Played there a couple weeks ago.
Haven't yet! Would love to play there.
Bob does sports and Good Good just released a video on this same course. You should try to do a collab with them.
I should reach out to them, shouldn't I?
@@NotAScratchGolfer absolutely. They will have an odd number of players but I'll be your plus one 😜
Is that a PXG driver? Been looking at getting a 0811x and it looks a lot like yours.
Driver is getting to be in a great place for you
Thanks! It still runs a little hot and cold.
@@NotAScratchGolfer sounds like my driver life
Do you count your score as you go or do you wait till the end to add everything up?
I'm an exception to the rule - I often have a pretty good idea of my score during a round. I try to let it motivate me as opposed to stress me out!
Shirt Brand and where to buy pwetty please!?
Yatta golf!

I typically play with friends. The fine gents in this video all play with my folks down in Palm Springs.
I liked the on pace updates, pretty interesting to see how fast it dropped
Well played!
Thanks!
Usually club up and AWAYS club up in the morning 🌄 haha

Is it just me,Or is that swing turning less un-pretty? Lookin’ more smooth!
