Chris, I’m a Canadian buyer who’s expecting my EX30 late this year. I want to thank you soooo much for this video. I’ve spent the last few months watching every press video, every new owner video, and scanning all the Volvo Facebook forums. There’s been lots of good news and more than enough criticism. The countless software failures have dominated the discussion. Although I’m still committed to buying the EX30, I’ve had my doubts and have been waiting for VW to launch the ID7 in Canada just in case. Now, after watching your brilliant tour of the display, my faith in Volvo and the EX30 are substantially renewed. Every Volvo dealer around the world should recommend your video. I’ll be going on all the Facebook forums and creating a link to it. Congratulations and thank you for excellent work.
Good informative video. It would be great if you could do a video on how to create profiles that save settings, wing mirrors, seats, warning sounds etc and how to sync that to the app. Also, the key fob you showed I believe is an extra but probably very useful. I initially thought that the EX30 had the option to have a digital key based in the app, is this correct? Lastly lol, I read that there are different settings on how the car locks and unlocks using the cards, key fob or App, That would be a good video too?
Hi, has it got its own voice assistant or I need to connect my phone? Can I ask the voice assistant to launch apps like radio, change station, modify volume? Can I ask to pick up a income voice phone call, read or reply to a text message? Maybe while maps navigating multitasking?
I’ve had the ex30 for a couple of weeks. I do feel I was misled as to range. Expected 295 miles from a full charge. Full charge predicts less than 250 miles. Volvo say it will adjuat upwards as I get used to driving it. Gas lighting!!!
Ugh I hate that glossy piano black finish on the steering wheel controls. Give me back my XC40/C40 matte black finish! Also I hate that everything is controlled from the screen including fog lights. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh.

When you have the steering wheel on the wrong side, isn't that tablet difficult to use with your left hand 😁?

I noticed the range was 124 miles with 80% battery. Eek!

@@dominicswords3293 Our XC40 recharge has about 225 miles at 90% charge and I’m comfortable with that.
Maybe have a go at producing a professional landscape video.
I never thought Volvo would embrace minimalism bandwagon to this extend. A lot of these new solutions are really stupid and actually affect safety.
