Really pulling on my heartstrings!. I was raised in the N. Green Lake area, and the entire Green Lake area was covered by me and my friends, for many years...my best friend was a lifeguard at Evans Pool. Seattle in the 50s and 60s was a great place to grow up!
The old stomping grounds of mine, looks more upscale now, but the ambiance of that area is still palpable. My parents, back in the early 1980s. had a chance to buy an apartment/condo right acroos the street from the Kiddies Pool, for around $80 grand. "Too much!" declared my dad...of course, now that place would go for over a million, I am sure! No street people seen here...how do you avoid those folks?

Oh really? Yeah it’s a nice area! Seattle has definitely changed over the years, it’s crowded, allot of traffic but still is a great place!

Yeah you’re probably correct on the price. I don’t try to avoid them, I just did not see any on this day.
