I'll be back there again as a judge for the 2nd annual catfish cook off that pays $$$

Rules:
- This is a fried catfish content and no other methods of preparation will be permitted
- No additional garnish, sauces or sides will be permitted
- Contest areas will open for setup at 12 pm on Sat the 23rd
- Turn in windows are open from 2pm until 3pm. All late entries will result in disqualification
- Each team will need to submit 5 individual half fillet pieces for judging.
- A team may consist of up to 4 members. An adult must accompany any contestant under 18.
Please note, cooking space is limited
- ONLY TEAM MEMBERS will be allowed in the cooking area during the prep, cooking and judging
period. One team member should remain in the cooking area at all times for fire safety reasons.
Alcohol consumption is not allowed inside of the cooking area due to Health Department and
safety concerns
- All fish must be prepared and cooked at the location of the event
- Each team is responsible providing their own fry daddy type fryer, oil and seasonings.
- 1 power outlet will be provided to each cooking site
- 6 Catfish fillets will be provided to each competing team
- Catfish will be turned in on competition provided numbered plates to ensure blind judging
Judging
- There will be a panel of 4 judges that will judge all entries
- Judges will only know the fish entries by a team number to maintain blind judging results
- Judges will be scoring 1-9 on taste, crispness and appearance
Entry fee is $50.00 and we will pay 3 places based on 10 entrees
1st place 500.00 and trophy
2nd place 300.00
3 place 200.00
