It's wild to see various jobs/occupations like these that have come into being in the late 19th century and lasted less than a century...all computerized now.
My Daddy worked there and I grew up in a house just in front of Harrisons factory ❤
Quite a humble director. I wouldn't want to do the work that the ladies in the background do.
You would not have to...computerized IT does it now...
@@SMichaelDeHart Yeah. I just wonder how the AI revolution will affect jobs and what those employees will move on to.
@@Christian-rj2yc I'm afraid in the negative for those coming into the work place today and moving forward.
I love the fact that the current mayor if the time 'Isaac R. Kirkwood' has a number of sneaky tats under his sleeve! Looks naval, perhaps from serving in WW2 or National Service.
Sadly Harrison and sons has gone now and is replaced by a housing development.
Oh, that is sad to hear. So much history in that building…
4.49 The Mayor has the worst stuck on, joke shop , Jimmy Edwards ,tache of all time.
My dad had a job testing out the stamps, unfortunately he couldn’t stick it for long
Boom boom!
Straightforward pricing on them too, you can't tell how much they are now, they can change overnight !!😒
What? ....16 mill a day ?!?
Don’t like high Wycombe I like low Wycombe
Wycombe does have it's ups and downs, so I prefer middle Wycombe
@@dapaynesta 😆 I’ve always loved the British sense of humor. Yank here, cheers to you all. 🍺
