MAS Distro: Spaceman - Explorer // Six Stage Phaser

The new Spaceman Explorer is the company’s updated iteration of its legendary, all-analog, six-stage phaser. It features all the striking aesthetics and powerful sonics of the original, but in a more compact, pedalboard-friendly enclosure. With a plethora of wave shapes, six stages of optical, photocell-based phase shifting, CV and expression control, and massive headroom, the Explorer is unparalleled amongst modern analog modulators. In this demo video, we put this mighty phaser to use in a full-band context with both guitar and bass, and with an array of clean and dirty tones. Then we dig into functionality, probing the depths of the Explorer’s powerful control set and letting you hear the full sweep of each parameter.
