Correct...tire burst can de-stabilize any vehicle. Driver had to follow orders for not to loose his job, hence he is not to blame at all.

The fault lies with the forest officials who ordered the driver for extra passengers.
The add-on weight increased the momentum as soon as the acceleration was high, this reduces the chances of quick braking leading to an accident !!

@@Red_Dusk can't say surely bro. The officer himself forced the driver to speed. One more thing the tyre are of *CEAT Brand* and are manufactured so. If we think logically, the first trial was conducted on the jungle road, in which alot of sharp rocks, twigs etc. are laid (i.e. it's the uneven road not meant for normal tyres to drive. Need particular offroad tyres of thick surface to survive.) and normal tyres can't sustain on that road.
So moving on to the conclusion, the tyre manufacturer should also equally be prioritised as the others were.

Standing in Safari vehicles is a common issue. One Safari I saw the lady at the back fall off due to sudden acceleration. Fortunately, no wild aminals around and she landed on soft sand
Any car be however well engineered cannot seat like 10 people, have mud/ offroad tires and then accelerate very quickly on a poorly built/ not fit fir high-speed driving uneven road.
This is a recipe for disaster and happened due to a series of bad decisions, by the officials

Its not driver nor company's fault. Company is doing great and govt must appreciate and help, like china does with home grown comp. Instead Officials and the department should be charged. Lets see.
If some of the forest officials are alive then it's them who needs to be arrested and not the driver or company's representatives, it was forest officials fault not company or driver's as we can clearly hear from dash-cam, moreover why do forest officials need to speed ?, do they belong to fire brigade or are they paramedic ?, this is why people are against new accident laws, as inspite of having solid proof, if you are part of government you can bend law as per your wish. There are no protocols in place while invoking such laws.

I think this car deserves a second chance because it was a pre-production unit. Accident happens in other car brands under testing, but these are done under a controlled environment and in a closed circuit that's why the accidents were not published by the company. I think there is no fault in the car and the driver,it all happened because of bad luck or #vidhikavidhan.

Not because of bad luck but because of forest officials, since they are dead, they can't be arrested hence all charges against the driver and company should be dropped as we can clearly hear from dash-cam that it's not driver's fault.

forest officials are very corrupt, they forcefully add more people in jungle safari jeeps than the recommended amount so that they can make money out of it. happened in Chikmagalur. Both officials and driver are hand in glove with this.
It's an EV, it should have ESC, ABS. Tyre Pressure moniter would have given them low tyre pressure warning. How on earth do you build an EV without ESC and ABS.

@@TheBigV_008 , this much instability BMW car showed, with this much swerve, the Pravaig car still would have hit those trees on the side, BMW's case road was wide and empty enough to recover, the car in this accident hit trees before it could rollover
@@shubhamdebnath714 1) The BMW did not swerve voluntarily. There was a tyre burst as I mentioned earlier. And those aggressive swerves were probably DIO (driver induced oscillations) (also, the driver was slamming the brakes as evident from the hyperflashing brake lights.)
2) There are only 2 lanes for the BMW. A little bit wider than the road Pravaig was driving on...
3) However, do not forget the fact that the BMW save was at a whopping 200 km/hr while the Pravaig was claimed to be no faster than 70 km/hr. Huge difference. 200 is deadly, where the slightest problem could prove lethal. The BMW systems saved the car at such a high speed and that's incredible. So @ 70 , it should be much easier to save.
If only Pravaig had better brakes... you don't require an entire runway to come to a stop from 70...

In the dashcam footage, there is not even a slight sound of a tyre burst before the footage is muted. This is IMO, Pravaig's fault for testing a prototype that too, with government authorities. I get they want to promote the Interceptor as a rugged go-anywhere EV, but at least make it proper before testing it. To see their half-hearted attempts, watch the Defy media event. You will see metal sheets stuck onto 4 wheels literally. I agree EV startups have been successful in recent years, but if you don't have the proper resources to make a vehicle, don't make false claims at least. Pravaig was never going to go into production with these products and this whole startup is a sham.

Seems like the car was really poorly built, without any basic safety aids such as ABS, EBD or traction control. This crash needs to be scrutinized to make sure the accident was not caused dues to failure of chassis,axles etc A tyre burst cannot be heard before the vehicle loses control. The torque probably caused the tyres to lose grip.

If it would be normal car maybe itna prblm nahi hta but its an electric car. Which already have heavy batteries on load. That's why in electric vehicles you can't do that much overload. I think praig should use even bigger tyres on these. This completely shows how just 100 kg of extra weight burst tyre just at 70. That tyre size definitely proved it how it fails in little bit of pressure. Just on 70

Jab officials hi driver ko bol rhe hai tb uski kya galati hai and iam sure jo officials hai wo car ko check kr rhe the unki bhi khasa galati nhi, kyonki emergency k time pr kisi extra person ko carry krna pad sckta hai or car ko bhagana bhi pad sckta hai.
