After three years off my wife and I hit the 3D range so I could clear the cobwebs. I'm planning on rebuilding my form and shooting skills as my scores continue to climb over the summer season.

A definite improvement over the previous score. Looking forward to that trend continuing. I used to shoot a slider until I got into self-filming. I have too many things to worry about with the camera gear that I found a standard pin sight was best for me.

Looks like you get a good workout pulling back on your bow for the course. What weight draw is your bow, I probably have mine set too low since it's so easy to pull back? I'd be interested what your setup for this season is going to be, whether you've incorporated any of the new jrb hitches, climbing methods, platforms, etc? Getting excited for the season! Oh, and bless your sweet wife for assisting you with filming! 👍
Haha thanks, John! I'll pass that on to her. 😊 I'm actually only puling 56 lbs currently but since I've not shot in a long time I'm still building up my bow pulling muscles. I'm getting stronger and stronger as each week passes and it is getting much easier to pull. As far as my setup, I'm still planning to one-stick and use the JRB Cinch (at this point) and my two preferred platforms are the Latitude X-Wing and the Trophyline Onyx. I may mix it up with the JX3 a bit as well. 👍🏼

I think I have that exact same site on my bow. I'm looking forward to using it and seeing how the third slider works. I've got a sighted into myself. That's a really cool 3D course
I'm really liking the site and have never been able to shoot out to some of these distances in the past. If you want to come down and shoot sometime let me know.
great video. i use a single pin sight due to my eyesight. works pretty well for me so far.
I can see how a single pin would be beneficial but I was worried about not having a set pin for 20 & 30 yards and needing to adjust the pin for every shot -while trying to self film. Hopefully this sight works out great this deer season. 😊

I feel that a single pin would be harder to use in a hunting situation when deer are moving and changing yardage. That is why I wanted to have a 20 & 30 yard pin set with a slider from 40 - 100 yards. Do you find a single slider is tough in a hunting situation?
@@madhuntsadventures no I leave it on about 30 yards that’s pretty much my limit with my setup for 10 -30 yards it’s only a few inches difference so I practice alot with it set at 30 at different distances and angles. So if i get excited i don’t use the wrong pin🤣
I personally like the 500 Garin arrow weight also.
