I was pumping milk and watched this video and I want to say thank you for this. I became a mother at the end of last year and it’s the struggle but a beautiful one. The push and pull of am I good enough since this transition plagues me but you saying do the best you can and bring okay with all experiences and parts of you regardless brings so much assurance that I’ll be alright. The part where you said you don’t even identify with your old self anymore though really shifted something in me. I always carry what i did in survival mode with me, even though i haven’t engaged in those behaviors in years. I will still eat ramen noodles though 😊.
