      Great question! We do hear this question a lot. The straight answer is no, hair does not die or even “fall out faster” after just one or two laser removal sessions. However, each case is unique, you’re best to talk to the laser removal professionals to get direct answers to your case.
      The problem with that ☝️ is there are very few smp laser removal specialists. Good luck in your journey ✊

    I have been through the his process myself in the UK.
    It took 5 laser sessions, purely because my SMP was so bad. Pigment used way too dark, zero separation between the dots, blow outs everywhere. It was a blue-ish black mess.

      @@scalp_logic I’d rather not, as I’m now direct local competitor of his since starting my own SMP business, and I don’t want to come across like I’m slandering his business for my own benefit. It’s a tricky one as I use my bad experience as motivation to deliver superior quality treatments, but try my best to tell my story from the perspective of a former client and not as a bitter competitor. It can be a tough balance as they kinda go hand in hand. People are free to go to him if they wish, but he has a tendency to over saturate scalps with dark pigment and I worry they will all end up a blue blur eventually. 🥴
      I prefer the long-game approach with my clients. Age appropriate, subtle treatments. I don’t/won’t do barbershop edge ups, for any amount of money. I leave those to my competitors.

If a well known SMP artist says this and is not willing to go for his own product properly then for me that says it all.

      We offer Subtle smp for this reason. Subtle P has pros and cons. Downside is sometimes too light, and touchups may be required every few years. The positive side is it looks realistic always and you will never need to laser remove.
      There are many different skill levels in traditional smp, but most artists will leave a guy needing to remove it eventually if and when the ink looks too unrealistic (this fact is rarely spoken about!) from settling into the skin naturally over time. And sometimes artists go way too deep and dark right away, that of course is our expert opinions.
      We talk about this topic a lot, but these are some of the highlights to consider.

    • @scalp_logic
      @scalp_logic  Рік тому +1

      It is certainly a matter of preference and opinion, but that shadow (when done correctly*) creates a frame to a man’s face. This frame creates a healthier, youthful, desirable, more fulfilling feeling than most people can realize.

      @@scalp_logic So after 10 years of 'subtle SMP' touching up every 2 years (pricy at 1k a touch up), will I then not need to laser off because the original and earlier touch ups have slowly merged into a single bluey grey shade over my head?

    • @scalp_logic
      @scalp_logic  Рік тому +1

      @@aldozilli1293 Most guys need a touchup every 2-5+ years. The entire necessity of Sublte P over regular smp is never needing to laser remove it.

      Let me try and explain it to you. If the baldness was everywhere then it wouldn't be a problem. The problem is that the baldness only occurs on top of the crown, leaving the sides and back with hair, this then creates a 'horseshoe shadow' that makes men look much older and it becomes apparent that they've lost their hair, even when they shave because where there is still hair there is a darker shadow. So that's why we hate being bald

    Joe, let me ask a question. If you are going to get a SMP procedure done the right way, why even go through the pain of laser surgery when I’ve seen guys who had bad SMP procedures in the past and got them fixed with a professional SMP company that specialized in correctional SMP procedures. It seems like you don’t really need to put yourself through the pain of laser surgery if you’re just going to get a corrective SMP procedure done right with a good, established company. They can work over the bad procedure and give you the results you’re looking for, a more natural, subtle, light hairline.

      I couldn’t disagree more.
      Who are the smp companies that specialize in correcting bad smp treatments without laser???
      This is just marketing bs and pictures are worth a thousand words here. (Healed pictures)
      There is NO WAY to fix a bad smp treatment (that has too much ink implanted too deep) by putting more ink under the skin.

      @@scalp_logic OK, I stand corrected. I guess it makes sense to have a cleared canvas to start over without putting ink on top of more ink. But, I have to say, I feel so bad for the guys that got botched SMP's because many of them had to endure that laser procedure to remove the botched SMP. That laser procedure is very painful on the head. I'm happy that you got a corrective SMP with the right company. I'm curious, have you heard of Scalp Micro USA? They seem to have a pretty good reputation and have quality technicians who do good work. The main objective is not to put the ink too close to other ink dots, so it doesn't eventually bleed under the skin and look fake.

Obviously I know I need to apply factor 30 or higher but was just wondering if I keep it topped up can I keep my scalp out in the sun all day or should I limit my time and wear a hat the rest of the time ? Any advice would be much appreciated. Also I read that sunscreen only protects your skin from the uv rays and not necessarily the pigment. Is there any truth in that ?

    • @scalp_logic

      Hello 👋 The answer is to always protect your skin from the sun ☀️ just the same as you would to protect from skin damage, wrinkles, sun spots, etc.
      Yes, even with spf loaded on, prolonged sun exposure can and will alter the ink in a negative manner. This is just another reason why Subtle P is the only way to get this done :))

      There have been businesses starting to offer to women...and then crickets. This is bc smp sits under the skin. In other words, it’s two dimensional. As artists we attempt a 3D look, but reality is it’s not possible. As far as the hairlines done by artists in women, I agree most female hairline flows are very unnatural. If you have enough hairline and hair natively, adding density via smp is as good as it gets. Big emphasis on having enough hair to achieve this look. Hope this helps 😄😄😄😄😄

    Bro just get rid of that shit. Don’t worry about being bald - you have great features

    • @scalp_logic

      Thank you for the very kind words.
      I’m obsessed with the psychology of going bald as a man. The action (or inaction) impacts directly the enjoyment in a man’s life. It controls so much more than people realize. Shallow or not, it’s humanistic.
      I’ve worked on and spoken in detail with thousands of men for the last 15 years.
      I am bias in that subtle SMP is the best way to be bald. Having a frame or hairline from SMP (from a *true SMP artist) is a game changer.

    • @Sloimer
      @Sloimer 11 місяців тому

      @@scalp_logic no doubt about it. I completely understand and ultimately it’s the psychological benefit to the user. It’s also great thar SMP can be laserEd off. I was only offering a compliment because you genuinely have good features and mentioned insecurity in the video. You look good without hair.

    • @scalp_logic
      @scalp_logic  2 роки тому +1

      To prevent having an inky head. A Lego-head.
      Once too much ink sits in the scalp, putting more ink to blend or fix is NEVER the answer.
      The only way in my situation to have a truly undetected result, was to fully remove and get the best artist on my skin.
      Nichole did my Subtle Pigmentation result almost 3 years ago, and I still challenge any other artist in the world to show a result as natural and real, healed 🤓✌🏻

      Scalp Logic there’s so much talk about using the yag q switch on smp, maybe takes more sessions and isn’t as strong but I know from reading a lot that the pico causes hypopigmentation, I’m not sure which one to use

    Good job, I am sure you would look a lot better now with the newer SMP needles and Technique. Also drop your line lower and square it off, instead of the recessing hairline look. It's gonna bring you back to a younger looking you. Can't wait to see your videos :o)
