Three games in and again GA baffles me. Why is Pointon not playing? Why are we again messing Young about and persisting with Kavanagh when he’s clearly off the boil. A game of two halves totally. But come on even the blind could see that POINTON should be the FIRST NAME on that team sheet with Cook and the f-ing keeper.
Tight games often hinge on small margins, but the margin that the ball was over the line should have been spotted by the linesman on the Midland Road side as he would have had a clear view of the ball if he was up with play! Sadly, goal line technology is only used in the Premier League and Championship! We were poor in the 1st half and certainly improved in the 2nd but Salford’s antics of slowing the game down every time we gained momentum was frustratingly allowed by the ref and ultimately achieved the draw they came for! As you say 4 points from the first 2 games is more than acceptable and we are clearly a team that is developing as a unit, but we must have more of a threat when playing at VP
Still unbeaten, move on to next week hopefully were building something special.....bloody head just fell in my weetabix then. I can now smell the coffee. Keep the faith.
Fine margins dictate the outcome for the 3rd game in a row. Really need to get off to fast and not sluggish starts at home, including an early goal. It's almost too late having 2nd half bursts by the time most away teams are clinging to what they have and the time wasting has set in. Slow starts play into the hands of the opposition at VP as we've seen so many times so start with your best attacking team including Pointon etc and get a goal or 2 that forces the likes of Salford to chase the game in the 2nd half. Anyway onwards and upwards, bring on the Bromley!
I seen it go over from halfway line. I am suffering from food poisoning at the min. And I still dragged myself to the game. Such a downer. We just struggled all over the pitch. We shud be beating salford at home week in week out. The linesman had a stinker
It was the sort of game we've been losing over the last few years. So a bit of an improvement especially when we should of won but for a useless ref... We limited them to 3 half chances and lever looked liked conceding. 3 points off Bromley and we're off to a good start 👌
Three number 10s behind Cooke, none of them getting behind Salford’s defenders and not creating anything. More creativity and pace when Pointon came on. Everything said, based on the 2nd half, we deserved to win yesterday. Shocking refereeing which is par for the course in the EFL basement. Long balls over the top did not work, meat & drink for Salford’s big physical defenders.
In what world is Kavanagh better than Jake Young???? -Slow ponderous start which is unforgivable ,especially first home game of the season-better 2nd half but we still dont create enough chances
Sadly our club seems to have some weird abusive relationship with Young. It's just absolutely baffling. In any other team in this division he'd be in the first 11... but no... not Bradford... we are our own worst enemy sometimes.

Definitely has to start next game V bromley he seems to suit home games more than any player before as he feeds off the atmosphere

Bobby looked exciting when he 1st came on and odour. But it doesn't last. Sarcevic and kavanagh not exciting me at the min. Kavanagh chasing shadows.
I feel obliged to comment now....was that considered a 'dad' joke?....
