I'd never heard of them until Planet Rock played this. My immediate thought was that the Foo Fighters had just released their best ever song until they announced who it was. This should have been a huge hit.
+lord geoffrey Idiot. This not being successful had nothing to do with hip hop, which is just as valid as any other form of music, with its own share of quality and 'bullshit' just like rock n' roll (eg quality = Pearl Jam, crap = Creed). It had everything to do with the Wildhearts doing what they've always done: playing music that's too metal for the pop kids and too pop for the metal kids. It'd be nice to see Ginger with a #1 single under his belt, but I doubt he's losing sleep over it.
@niall720 Yeah. That's the bittersweet part of listening The Wildhearts. I feel great whenever I listen them because I love their music, but at the some time, sometimes, I feel sad for them for never made it big. All of their albums, even their weakest ones, are the type of album that makes a band famous...
@Bansidhe I believe Ginger played bass on most of the albums anyway. He said in the liner notes for Endless Nameless that he played on the record while Danny was out buying drugs.
@gruntshunts123 And people can be so stubborn too...you know, I have 2 friends whose fav band is foo fighters, I recommended them the wildhearts a 1000 times thinking they might dig it because of the pop melody and hard shit mixing both bands have in common, and whenever I do it's not like they don't listen, it's like they don't wanto to listen! And it's so fucking frustrating because, even when I don't consider foo fighters to be a bad band, compared to the wildhearts they are a fucking bore...
Yet another rehash of an old formula. Yawn! Man I'm tired of these easy come please go bands. The video is BORING with the obligatory girls dancing and overly edited guitar jumping about clones. Big fat zero.
Awesome live band and this album was quality - brings back memories.

It would be a huge hit, but most idiots prefer bullshit rap music

And little do you know their history with hits and how the music industry screwed bands like this
Feelgood music love it !
Hope Dan is doing good. Went to his 40th thing at Camden Barfly where the Yo-Yos played then saw them again at Download. He looked and sounded good.
Rehab unfortunately, Gnger played bass on the album and Jon Poole was touring bassist, they must've recorded the video before getting Jon in.
Cool! Thanks for the share Karen Graham! (y) RAWK!!!
I LOVE you Ginger!!!
This song is soo cool and great!
This is such a badass song (just in case anyone was wondering).
Ich würde diesen Song am liebsten als Wecker auf meinem Handy benutzen!
Die Wildhearts sind so geil und Ich LIEBE GInger und Scott!!!
I met ginger in Asda lol
awsome song :)
Wooooooooooooow so cool
@delavalhall
Danny had gone into rehab just before the recording of the album The Wildhearts Must Be Destroyed.
Ginge played bass on the record.

The Wildhearts Kick Ass!

He gets in the steamboat in South Shields still from time to time. Ginger does too occassionally.
Crackin lads
Sad there's no Danny in this video
"I'll be working on a number one, I hope you do the same."
I think you're right.
hi ginger!! i miss you, love....xo m.
Real music, this band is so very awesome and so badly under rated, they are arena quality imo.
CJ with hair
Where is the bassist?

Supeb song.
Note distinct lack of bass player in the vid. I assume it was made just after Danny was ejected fro the band.
Best of a bad bunch, BUT even dodgy wild hearts songs are way better than, these Chav rock bands like Moron 5 and tard-fi.
Shite...... Need a new dress??
All gingers songs sound the fucking same
SUBWAYDOG1 are you having a laugh? Listen to mutation, then tangle wood, then hey hello and then tell me it all sounds the same
