Thanks for the build. I completed my first hesca today (eventually) with the help of a warpike version of this build. I then went back to a Hard level esca, and wondered why I ever struggled with it. My new favourite build.
Congratulations! Hopefully I can get some new dauntless content up when they give us some updates next summer! Glad to see people still getting use out of these builds though!
I play this game for a very long time and I've been using parts of this build since a loong time for hesca, basically parasitic and tough with full crit and skarn lantern and you're good to go
If you’re like me and have no friends then it’s difficult to do any escalation.
If you have not yet tried this build it helps a LOT for solo
Took me 43 minutes in a Terra hesca with this build, with other builds I couldn't get past round one, this helps

Did this with an Axe variation of the build and it worked very well! Good build!
I use sword, was struggling with soloing Flame escalation the whole day, after I changed my equipment to this build I managed to clear first try, thanks a lot.

How did you convert this to sword? I only see a chain blade, pike, and repeater build
@KumaNoKimi just use the same sword as the repeater/chain blade we use. Honestly though it’s best with repeater or chain blades.

I have to give it to you, this set was actually pretty amazing. While you recommended Repeaters, War Pike, or Chain Blades, I actually tried this with the Chronovore Axe since axe is my main. After countless failed attempts at round 1 of Umbral Hesca, this set won me an entire solo run first try, and on a run completely designed to waste my time and kill my Escalation score (Shrowd, Embermane + Frostback Pangar, Earthshaper Fenroar, Frostwülf + Tempestborne Stormclaw. Notice a pattern here?).
I have to give you the greatest of thanks, this set was amazing and really fun to play with!

I just did a finished a run it turned out very well we beat the boss took us a bit but we managed to beat with one random it was just the two of us the build works very well
It won’t get it done fast but I’ll get it done and that’s all that matters! Glad to hear people are still getting use out of this one!

Love this build so far! I will say tho...I'm not sure how you got +6 cunning. I followed this step by step and only get +3 cunning (we only put one cunning in the pants) where's the other 3 coming from?
You get three from the weapon bond
honestly been trying to get agarus to drop that cursed ironroot shard to no avail and thats 10 times now ive killed it😒😒
I believe that drops off one of the arms, there is a different drop for each arm on him if I remember correctly
This don't work anymore or maybe I'm hella ass cuz I have this build to the "T" just using chain blades instead cuz their my main. and it wont let me fight the main boss. Tt just ends the run saying its complete but it doesn't give me my rewards. and when I fight the behemoths I get A's and B's.

I could easily do a 10/50 frost esca with a level 9 repeater with this build. I normally go with a shield build because i don't like dodging. And while the shield build is keeping me alive it does not do a lot of damage. With this you can still do a shield build you will just have 3 parasitic instead of 6 then. But you loose the 12% chance on getting double hits. But it might also work. I almost always run though tenacious and plus 3 parasitic.
What would you replace the legendary with if you did not have them yet?
I wouldn’t attempt the heroic esca without it tbh

ive never seen anyone actually use ice born asides from new players, actually makes me doubt that hesca is possible with it but it seems legit. I always thought ice born was only good for newer players who just wanted to get an omnicell while also not revolving the build around it
Why does the last boss chronovore keeps getting his health back
When he does the spring bouncing type animation he is healing you HAVE to interrupt that move or it will heal for about 50%

@CalebWarta I'm a returning players from years ago , I found out you can now prestige weapons and so many other things but the grind is harder haha I appreciate the advice but I have never been a fan or chain blades . I mastered the sword and got bored of it now I'm learning the hammer actually using 1 of your build too thanks !
Do you think I can use the Sharon lantern instead of shrike?
Not for this the attack speed is needed for the clear times

It can but u wouldn’t recommence axe for heroic if your new to heroics

I would honestly just run as many cascade as you have while you try to get more. But molten would be a good substitute, the problem is that cascade is a BIG part of why this weird build just works haha
Does this still work in radiant escalations? Or should the legendary be swapped for them and if so to what?
It does to a degree the problem with RHesca is that the boss heals if you don’t boop so I honestly recommend just skipping that one when it is up.

@@tahrovinrahI used the exact build in the video but swapped the pistols for the umbral legendary ones and bonded it with shrowds pistols. Didn't go down once, and be sure to save tonics for the boss
Hello this build has no catalyst any thing I have to change so I can use catalyst
This one is setup specifically not to need catalysts adding it would do more harm then good. It does just enough damage to deal with hesca while giving enough survival and buffs to make the fights less challenging.
Is there a number one Tempest Chain Blade build?
I’m not a fan of tempest builds as they are mostly part damage rather than core damage. Good for farming but not really my thing for killing monsters.
Can i use tempest and the koshai bloom instead of iceborne and shrike thing?

This doesn’t work for me I cannot kill the behemoths fast enough and the %gets too high and I can’t fight boss

Should work fine with strikers but I have not tested it with strikers, everyone was a little burnt out on strikers so no one wanted to test that haha!

It will work, you just need to be both hyper aggressive while being observant. You need to keep your attacks going to keep feeding your HP while trying to reduce how often you get hit. Tenacious is kind of the hard carry on this build so keep your HP up so your damage stays up
Didn’t work out so well for me with pike this week. Not enough DPS to kill the boss. Went in with randoms and it was easy, finished it yesterday.
I just can’t get used to sword or axe, they don’t fit my play style.
Puke definitely isn’t for everyone!
@@CalebWarta I’m fine with pike no issues with the weapon just wasn’t hitting hard enough to kill. Sword or axe if I was terrible with them would’ve been better. I main CBs and pike is secondary.
Oh sorry misread that when I was waking up haha yeah this definitely favors the faster weapons. Sword is weird with this it can work but eh..
Not even close i copied this build and i cant even beat the first behemoth. Maybe it has to do with the fact that its radiant hesca. I dont know!

That’s strange. Me and my friends use this build and it’s amazing.
Radient HESCA requires you to boop. If you fail ANY boop que it will heal. I have seen it heal to 100% from 25%.
Anytime it stands up to shoot bubbles
You need to get in close enough to interrupt. Learn the attack patterns so you know when to interrupt
Ok so i died i think its because the first behemoth i encountered was alyra and i suck at dodging, anyway, i tried it today on shock hesca and i did it first try (close call tho) so thank you so much, your build works wonders!
Oh and i also managed to do trial normal dificulty solo, which i never did before so thats a plus
