I'm glad you get to be home this time, because just being able to get more rest is a positive. Also praying this combo kicks butt! And....here's hoping the new med will be exactly what your body needs. One question, how is Mary still so pretty even when she feels terrible? I look like a swamp creature when I'm sick. Lol

I greatly empathize with you on the fevers! For the past 6 weeks I have been fighting sepsis and every single night without fail I get a fevers of at least 103 to 105.6. I had a 105.4 degree fever Friday night and I felt absolutely terrible (also I am already in an ICU so I am getting the care I need)

I really feel for Mary. At 4:30 she is resting in that position because it allows it to be easier to breathe. I have not seen her do that before. I have never heard her struggle walking just to the bathroom either. I pray these antibiotics work.
It is indeed a thing. I have tried to find devices that would make sleeping like that more comfortable but I couldn't find anything.
Hey Mary, I'm sitting here watching your video, and I still can't believe after a stay in the hospital, weeks of more iv's at home, now more iv's at home. I have to say you are the most up beat person I have even seen. Most people think they are dying if they get a little fever and a cold. You on the other hand are the most positive woman I think I have ever seen. Although it does get to you at times and you have to have that one good cry to let it all out. I think we all should take a little lesson from you and try to be a little positive, no matter how big or small our problems are. Now Peter, you have to be one of a few men/husbands who take such good care of Mary, even though I know you get stressed dealing with all your work, plus dealing with all Mary's health issues. Maybe we should all take another lesson from this sweet couple, and stand behind one another no matter what other is dealing with or how the other is feeling. Oh yeah Ollie, you just keep begin your sweet self, even if you don't think your doing anything to help, believe me you are. (before you say anything, yes I spoke to Ollie just like he was a human.)

SodiumFreeVideos Growing up, my Mom would tell me that God won’t give us more than we can handle. That simply isn’t true. As a person with extreme chronic pain for most of my life, I can tell you that we are given waaay more than we can handle. But, we can handle it with Gods help. There is a story in the Bible about clay jars where they must go through the fire before they are strong and ready for Gods service. In Islam its said that God challenges those he loves... When I am in the throes of vomit inducing pain, and I think I’m going to crack up and go mad from it, I start praising my God for the astounding gifts He’s given me to get through this life. Then I ask His help in Jesus name and open my heart to Him. He helps me always. We must all walk through our own fire, be it physical or emotional, but God is there with us if we let Him, and He will refresh us and fill us up with His joy and love. We don’t know what we are being prepared for, that’s why we have faith. When I was young I told God that I was willing to do anything to His service. That was when this all started. A month later and it was so bad I was in the hospital for a week. I wonder when I’m going to be strong enough to stop being cooked 😂, but I trust in the God who has sustained me with His love. I wish so much you were healthy and didn’t need any medications. You are going through so much together and I know it’s important for you to believe god is beside you but why would anything or anyone want to put you through all this. You are the nicest couple, so loving, so inspiring, it’s just so upsetting and you should be having a great time living your lives, having babies, going on trips etc etc. I’m sorry I feel for you guys, please let something be discovered that cures this dreadful disease. As a little humor, have you noticed how much Peter and Ollie look a like. At least in the hair area. Seriously, why isn't Mary on oxygen? It seems she uses so much energy just breathing that the oxygen would help her to maintain her strength.

Because her lungs need to be functioning below a certain capacity before she needs oxygen. Otherwise she can get oxygen toxicity, which can make her even worse.
It's not the oxygen that gets her most is the coughing and constant infections

Doctors don't prescribe oxygen until you need it to sleep. Being on oxygen makes your breathing "lazier" and it can be harmful if done too early.

My husband was on those same antibiotics as well. He hasn't done colistin for a while but is starting it back up again. Hope she feels better. Also your channel inspired us to create a youtube channel as well so thank you!

This is how I react on Colistin + Mero. Colistin really wrecks my body. I have fever for about 36 hours and I feel weak and my body is slightly achy (it becomes difficult to tolerate CPT). I hope these antibiotics work for you.
I didn’t know Mary had MRSA :(. I am so sorry. What precautions does Peter need to take so that he does not get the infection? What about the items mailed from the online store - I know it can live on surfaces for a long time...?

Lol, I have never seen anyone else sleep sitting with pillows in front of them. I've been doing it for years and my husband thinks I'm goofy. And yes, my legs have fallen asleep which woke me up, too. I guess there are certain things that are typical to a body that is not feeling well or is in pain. I'm praying the IVs work this time.
