This lawyer’s speculation in this video - wild speculation about what a ‘normal person’ would do - this is exactly how innocent people are convicted.
Wendi at some point later in this interrogation is crying and says about Dan - who she knows now is dead - ‘Dan is all alone at the hospital - he shouldn’t be there alone. He is alone there and nobody even knows he’s there’ - would someone involved say something like this?
She had nothing to do with it.

I can tell you I I would be ugly crying so hard that it would be a long period of time before anything I said could even be understood. Those little tissues would have been used in less than 5 minutes and I’d be blowing ugliness into my shirt. When people really cry, their nose swells, turns red and runs like a faucet. No doubt those emails were sent before they realized they could actualize their fantasy of hiring a hit otherwise she would never have left that trail of evidence. The other emails also demonstrate an extent of evilness rarely seen or imaginable - a Jewish family even thinking of dressing up their offsprings in Hitler Youth costumes just to hurt their in laws, just completely unfathomable but that’s who they are to the core.

I mean the emails, daily conversations, etc between Wendi and her family were such that they hated him. That Charlie made his bombastic hitman stuff had to plant deep down that Wendi knew something. Maybe not the particulars but for sure something. At the very least, she picked up a breadcrumb from either Donna or Charlie.
And maybe or maybe not they kept her and Harvey out of it until after. Devices may show.
But either way that irrefutable drive to Trescott says a whole lot to be sure.
Her phone call to Donna from the police interview sounded very unauthentic. Why ask your mom to sit down twice over Dan, the man Donna hated to give her the news? Yet needlessly Wendi points to her brother immediately with the hitman joke to police. I mean right there the police had a suspect coupled with Lacasse statements. She was probably trying to find out from Charlie, if the hitjob was already completed so it was safe for her to release the repairman from detainment. This is probably the readon why the repairman reported that Wendy seemed nervous or upset during his visit; because she was desperately trying to stall him after her probably told her in the first minute of his visit, that the tv couldnt be tixed and indicated that he was heafing back out the door .
I think the readon Wendis police interview performance didnt go as she had planned and rehearsed, was because she was caught off guard; she had planned the police showing up at her house or calling to notify about shooting a requesting an interview, sometime after she returned home from lunch date. No one could have predicted that law enf would track her down at the restaurant. She likely believed that the hitmen were caught and she had in some way bern implicated ad a suspect. And this is why she basically threw anyone and everyone, and Especially her brothe and family, under the bus. Because if the murdr plan had implided, then law enf would likely already know that her family were involved, and she would gain points for telling law enforcement "all she knows" making her look innocent.

There is a mood shift when Wendi learns from the advocate that Dan could still be alive. It shifts from almost cathartic sadness to anxiousness and fear. Her breathing quickens. She sits up straight, looking around, as if she’s trying to think on her feet. It’s a noticeable shift and shows her getting her reactions mixed up. She rarely ever does this but once in a while, she will flip-flop the emotion she is supposed to be feeling because she’s living it and she’s human. I think she has been telling herself she is innocent of all of it, so the body language expert is right the body language does seem sincere because she is sincerely believing what she’s saying, but we could learn more with this particular savvy interviewee by looking at larger patterns of behavior.

And as far as all her questions "of concern", she KNOWS they always say about a suspect that they didn't even ask any questions (because they already KNOW, because they DID IT) she went SO OVERBOARD in her "concern" ... and of COURSE she's clever enough to say he doesn't want the plug pulled! Having listened extensively to the prison phone calls between Charlie and various family members, particularly the overbearing matriarch Donna, I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that they sat together and collectively and exhaustively rehearsed what they anticipated to occur in their impending police interrogations. And, the way Wendi so easily and quickly made those statements that on the surface, appear to be throwing Charlie under the bus, I'm convinced that saying what she did about Charlie, was actually a very cleverly pre planned statement particularly about Charlie as I can just imagine them thinking how clever of them it would be to appear to deliberately throw Charlie under the bus by Wendi saying what she did about him in order to throw the officers off by actually prempting their initial suspicion on Charlie while simultaneously believing that by doing so, the officers would think there's no way she'd say that if Charlie really did do it. And she's had months or at least several weeks with which to practice her "reaction" she'll perform in front of the police under questioning. And this female guest is out of her tiny mind with her acrobatics of the mind in order to claim Wendi wasn't directly linked to the murder. It's rather embarrassing actually

Update: watch the look on Janine's face when Carl starts talking with experience and knowledge of the case....she is out of her league.
YES Wendi studied how to perform in that interrogation. YES She's a fairly good actress. YES she is very well educated as well as being an attorney herself. She had a long time to put all this together in her head just like Charlie did before he testified. BOTH failed. YES She told them to "keep him alive" but only AFTER she absolutely knew he was brain dead and could never speak again. YES She couldn't help herself when she had to know if the murder had been done. YES She should have been freaking out from the very beginning when the detective arrived at the restaurant if she was innocent. YES a regular person can clearly see that she is of course upset that he's dead but not because she cares but because she now has to get through the interrogation and come out unscathed. YES She wanted to sound innocent and methodically names Charlie as a suspect. YES She set up her friend Jane in the week before to make sure she would implicate Jeff Lacasse and that would buy the hitmen a chance to get back to Miami. YES She thinks she is untouchable. YES she will be arrested. YES I disagree with Janine's take on her sincerity. Did she see Wendi's 3 very in consistent court appearances ?? I am getting the feeling that Janine is advocating for Wendi's innocence without having done her research on this whole case. It's almost offensive to be honest. Wendi is diabolical and she knew exactly what she was doing from the first moment. Why would she go to such lengths to mention the bad TV joke so many times and to so many people ? To protect herself. She really thought she was the smartest person in every room she walked into and she still does. She was well prepped and she pulled off what she THOUGHT was the performance of a lifetime. She will face Lady Justice. Will she come up with a way to save herself before Donna and Charlie flip on her by saying that she told them NOT to do it ? That's my prediction of the only way she gets a deal if she comes forward before indicted or shortly after. JMO What do ya'll think ?

Been following this case since early 2022 and up until listening thru these recent jail phonecalls, I had been 100% convinced of all Adelsons guilty AND evil to the core. Perspective changing over time, with respect to Donna,Charlie n Harv, but has now changed completely over these past few days, since listening to the recently recorded jail calls. My opinion is that Donna, Harvey and Charlie were directly and indirectly manipulated into committing this horrific act of murder by their demonic daughter/sister. I believe she unfolded a carefully crafted plan to murder Dan, over a several years period of time. Her strongest skill is manipulating people and she manipulated her family and friends perceptions of reality to her desired narrative about her relationship with Dan, his behaviour, etc. ** She procured and cultivated new friendships ,(incl. Jane, who introduced her to Jeffrey, and incl Jeffrey, who she had procured to begin grooming him to be the future hitman or fall guy; depending on which way it goes) with her murder plan in mind. Empathic people are targeted and easily manipulated by narcissists devoid of empathy, because they cannot fathom their state of mind. Wendi manipulated her familys perception of reality, where they believed that their actions were necessary and heroic because Wendi was suffering and would continue to suffer abuse at the hands of Dan. Imo, she manipulated Dan into a desired negative behaviour at every opportunity, then immediately report to her parents and friends, what he did-- leaving out of the story, the thing she did to provoke it.
She would have had no problem having her "loved" ones do this for her, because she's imo incapable of love and would find that the obvious choice and easiest targets for helping her achieve her goal, is her family and or friends(Jeff). Her family are just now starting to catch on to what she may have been capable of, since they are feeling the effects of being discarded. They probably haven't even opened the door to the possibility that the entire premise of the reason why they had to protect Wendy from Dan, had actually been part of Wendys murder plan. They probably are still at the stage of believing they came up with idea of the murder; and just reeling from the callousness by which she has discarded them and thrown them under the bus.
The precision by which she carried out the erasure of Dan's existence and the hateful connotations in her actions in doing so, are not the actions of an ex-wife who is coping with the unanticipated murder of the father of her children; it is the behaviour of someone who had been waiting years for this event to finally happen .
**Stopped cooperating w law enforcement immediately after finding out Jeff's ironclad alibi at time of murder meant that there would be no in depth, time consuming investigation into Jeff as a suspect....and would NOT be providing her with the " buying her time" to play out her performance as the victim of the murder of her children's father traumatized by the shock of suddenly becoming an unanticipated single mother newly in Tallahassee, that SHE HAD RELIED ON. Prompting her instant departure to Miami the day after Dan's memorial.
Showing up at the crime scene(also, funerals) is one of the behaviours that murderers (the psychologically invested ones; where there's premeditated) are known to do.
I think Wendis' premeditated murder plan, was probably started as one of the ideas she conceived for the story for her book. She probably became enchanted by the idea and fantasized about it to the point of obsession, and ended up with an impressively(to her)detailed murder plan that she decided was the solution to the unhappy unfulfilling life and circumstances she had created for herself. The elaborately developed idea would probably have made her book an entertaining and interesting read had she decided to include it. I think that the moment she decided to leave it out of the book was when she decided to make it part of her real life story. Or maybe the murder plan was part of the story in her Completed book!? She just deleted the final chapter which revealed the entire murder plot and murder; Maybe that's why her book is such a "dry" read because she didn't complete the fictional story and decided to live it in her real life instead!
For me, the proof that this is a very possible scenario, is in her actions and behaviour following Dan's murder.
