hi paul i need to split the cases too on my 78 125c due to crank bearing play, i have rebuilt many top ends over the years going back as a kid, now 60+, so would love if your able to show the tools needed to split cases and how its done, and how you go through the box, checking gears, shafts, shifter forks ect, i think i will replace the rod and big end bearing on mine as well since its all apart, i love the early water cooled rms, up till 84 , they are beautiful looking bikes, suzuki once built the best mx bikes in the world, every kid wanted an rm, suzuki 125 rm world GP champions 10 years in a row, please keep up the great work, thanks so much from down under Australia

These 1981 thru 1983 RM 125’s are near and dear to my heart. I raced them and had a lot of success with them. I am looking forward to this restoration series with keen interest.

Fork boot repair was excellent. Stripping the engines was cool to watch and the music is very catchy. Thanks for another great video 👍

Fond memories of a 83' RM125D I had, traded it on a new RG250WD once I got my licence.

One of the best UA-cam channels! Definitely needs to be longer content. If you had longer videos you’d make more money off them. I believe that’s how it works plus they are awesome to watch and learn. You my man are on a whole Nother level! Keep them coming please and please make much more of them!

@@paulwyatt1666 thank you Paul and everyone. I am really pressed for time at work so I put out what I can per week. At least you know with 3 bikes I’m not going anywhere fast!
      Thanks again to you all.

I applaude the way you restore and save parts, as well as the careful dismantling process. I particularly like the front fork boots being repaired.

thanks for resto videos, am restoring a 78 rm 125c, these bikes got ridden into the ground, thrashed, blown up , no one cared back then, now 40-50 years on we realize that these bikes were from the golden era of motocross, fast and fun bikes to ride, well worth persevering restoring saving motocross history, best bikes and times growing up riding and enjoying these bikes
