Gianni Morandi - Bella Belinda (Stereo)

The song was originally called “Pretty Belinda”. It was written, recorded and released as a single by Chris Andrews in 1969.
It didn’t chart in the UK but was successful in South Africa and in several European countries.
This Italian cover by Morandi, had reached #1 in Italy and was also successful in Israel.

I was only 10 years old when this video with this version of the song made me fall in love with the Italian language and at the same time Gianni Morandi became my idol. My father recorded it on audio tape and then I tried to do my best in order to write the lyrics as I could by listening to it many times, pressing the buttons "play" - "stop" every 4 or 5 seconds. That's how I learned the whole song by heart. The fact that I am Romanian helped me a lot because Italian and Romanian languages are quite similar. A few days after, I sang it at school in front of all my classmates. :)

imagine a man who has arms the same way a Japanese has legs. I'm a massive guy and it's strange that I like songs like this. Gianni Morandi during communism was a god in my country, I'm from Romania, and I remembered now the song In Ginocchio Da Te. how many times I listen to this Italian music from the 60s I feel a special pleasure in my heart, the same happens with the Italian films from that period. god, Sergio Endrigo with the song called Mani bucate. I don't remember the title of the film, but I know of a gorgeous beauty, Stefi Sandrelli. Because of this film, I fell in love with the Fiat car. I'm done, I'll stop, I've bored you enough
