Most Intrument custer lamp changes I've done really live up to adding the f-word to cluster. Not looking at any car manufacturer in particular (Citroen????)
Yes some can mean pulling the entire dash apart. Had a few cars like that. The MK2 twingo is a bit harder then the Mk1. Lots of scraping of knuckles when replacing the HVAC lighting control bulbs
