I have to agree. I think listening through all their SXSW stuff they were having an off day. They are usually pretty spot on live. Maybe it's something to do with the vocal heavy mix?
if they sang a karaoke version of i couldn't be your friend at a bar, they'd get booed off the stage.
try to sing live and see how you sound. I think they did great!
