BLOWN AWAY. I would have never thought to use brown handles and let alone in such a gorgeous pattern. And "nookier nook" cracked me up. Just love every video you put out. You need a TV show!!!!
Your sense of humor really comes through and it's endearing. I have always enjoyed your content, but even more so lately now that your personality is showing.
Dude you are a seriously talented guy!!! I love watching your videos so much!!!! The care that you take when filming doesn’t go unnoticed!!! I admire your love of nature and it’s sounds and creatures and how you incorporate them into your vid’s!! The editing quality is ridiculous!!!! And I haven’t even gotten to the furniture yet!!!! These pieces that you recreate are one of a kind and simply stunning in my opinion!!! I hope your journey here on UA-cam is just beginning because I plan on watching your channel for the long haul!!!! Bravo my friend!!!
I just found this channel a couple days ago and have been binge watching. Really raising the bar for both furniture design and film editing. Amazing quality in both ball parks and fascinating to watch. Massive RESPECT. I suspect a very high IQ behind of this talent. Thank you for sharing with us, Andy. You're the goat.
I died a little when you got out the black stain but that's just personal preference. And, of course, it came out so much better than I expected! You are a master at your art!
It was a sad little puppy to begin with but it's amazing now. Love the contrast of brown and black and the new handles are genius. Half the reason why I watch your channel is for your editing; it's magic👌.
I can't put into words how brilliant this is. Your design skills have really improved over the years. But your creative genius lies in your editing skills. It's an absolute joy to watch these.
Man you should put the final piece on the thumbnail, it's an art piece I love it. I've been binging your videos 3 days in a row, thank you for this delightful content!
I had my doubts about the walnut pulls against the ebony, very much. This is dark but in the scandi-japandi style, very contemporary and unique. Most are afraid of thinning stain or modifying the color, and I haven't seen anybody else use black stain yet. WOW. Inspired and daring work as always. Thanks.
Came in late last night, slept through your video, woke up this morning and watched again this time 👀 wide opened. I really love your work. This is just Beautiful.
Its the Micheal Jordan of staining gloves. Nice work on the peice. Love the salvage of older materials and I might have to steal your cabinet idea for scrap wood! I have a lot.
This is the 4th video of yours I'm watching and I'm definitely hooked (I'm kinda binge-watching lol). But I just had to pause the video to come and comment to say how much I loved that you stopped to appreciate the beautiful katydid 😍
Excellent job, as ALWAYS! I still miss the lucky red staring rag sock, but the air Jordon jump was coll as all get-out! Liked the magic unscrew ing too! Thoroughly enjoyed the video, and nice to hear your voice! 👍
WOW OH WOW! That looks amazing. Well done. Love your work totally! You are soooo GOOD! Your videos are awesome as well. I can’t imagine what you’ll be creating 20 years from now. You have the experience of a 65 year old craftsman under your belt already.
I watch a lot of creative and artistic furniture refinishers. You, sir, are next level. The transformation of this piece is incredible. And your videography? Fascinating.
Fantastic and I love the simplicity of your staging. I've thought for a while now, that you're item should be in high end magazines and in a designers catalogue. Definitely
Just--wow! Of course, if I had telekinetic powers, I could do this stuff, too! And I love the vase-with-flowing-branch add-on in the final image. Makes it look like the dresser is ready for warp drive.
i can't help but comment on every video you make. your editing exudes so much rightful confidence. It makes me trust that the project is going to be a knockout, because of how much fun you have producing / planning the video
What a fascinating job 👏 I did not expect to see that old piece coming back to life the way you did 😍 Loved the color, the handles, and the legs. Actually I loved the whole thing.
From an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan! You could almost _hear_ it saying: "Help me, Obi Wan. You're my only hope." 😜 Very. Well. Done. I'm running out of superlatives to describe your talents and your beautiful end results! ❤👍💪
That is a thing of sheer beauty! You are truly talented. Rare is the time I see a piece of furniture and want it in my home, well...that piece is something I would put in my home! Well done!
I was just watching random videos then I found yours, I subscribed easy. Your way of doing things is good, skilled hands, not wasting materials like that screw, and presentation is creative, Of course, the finish product is best.
Sober, elegant, modern. You've brought this piece of furniture back to life in the most beautiful way. Bravo, beautiful work. The sound of the tools alone is excellent. This video is very pleasant to watch. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I wish you a very nice year 2023. Greetings from France 🇫🇷
I had to watch this again and marveled at the dark walnut pulls against the black actually look fantastic. Even custom brass pulls would not be nearly as good as the wood. I did NOT notice that they are not symmetrical, but are completely random. I have NEVER seen this asymmetry on furniture. The skirt and legs seem out of proportion, but that just adds to the interest. I would have done them in the walnut color and would have ruined it, distracting from the vertical pulls. Curious how you knew the goo-gone would not leave a residue and resist the stain? Did you try alcohol, acetone, or mineral spirits? Hands down, the most interesting dresser I have ever seen. "Organic" AF, but I can't tell what I am looking at, maybe a grove of trees, piers in a lake, a group of people? abstracted? It is all the subtleties (almost sneaky) that offer the intrigue here. Even the black stain in some shots looks very slightly cerused.
Came for the furniture show, stayed for the gun show 10:19
but seriously amazing video as always, can't say how much awesomeness your work is!!
I was about to comment about the gun show! 😅
I was shy to say something but yes.
LMAO
Gun show is right. 😏

I just found your videos and ditto to all of the above! In addition, I REALLY respect how much you repurpose materials and supplies!!

You are a master at your art!
Your attention to detail sure shows up in your finished product; that’s gorgeous. Your camera work and editing ain’t too shabby, either.
What a fantastic piece of art you made and I'm not only talking about the furniture piece! The video needs an UA-cam Oscar 😅
Awesome videography , and the results are stunning. The sponsor information was cleverly inserted into the content. I enjoyed the episode immensely!
Stunning...you are a master furniture refinisher...a true artist. All your pieces are brilliant recreations. Thanks for sharing!
It was a sad little puppy to begin with but it's amazing now. Love the contrast of brown and black and the new handles are genius. Half the reason why I watch your channel is for your editing; it's magic👌.
Seeing that article from Deep River was mind blowing! Funny to see something so old from such a small town.
that screw/nail storage rack is so smart!!! now i'm trying to think of a reason to build a million of them
I can't put into words how brilliant this is. Your design skills have really improved over the years. But your creative genius lies in your editing skills. It's an absolute joy to watch these.
I'm not usually a fan of black furniture, but this looks awesome! I love the handles design and color

Inspired and daring work as always. Thanks.
I was not expecting this _phisique_ in the middle of the (already) fascinating experience that is watching your videos. Damn!
Stunning as always! Design, editing, everything lol @9:31 "nookier nooks" 😂
The economy of your aesthetics is your greatest gift. The drawer pulls are that small change that makes it interesting. As always, you inspire me.
What an artful transformation! If you had held an ugly duckling competition, no one would have had a chance. That piece was lucky to find you!
Serious specialty tools and a great sense of design and color: the staggered horizontal bars.
You did a fantastic job! Love the black stain and the handles😍
Came in late last night, slept through your video, woke up this morning and watched again this time 👀 wide opened. I really love your work. This is just Beautiful.
True bliss is when you release a new video. You are so talented. Beautiful work!
Omg the thing you did with your hand to unscrew was so magical, intelligent and hot at the same time.
Just stunning, as always. ❤️❤️ Your editing is top tier!
I agree Angie!!! A complete showoff!!! LOL!! Freakin amazing Bud!!!
The "nookier nooks"! 🤣 Great idea with the additional wood strips to add to the handles.
And the legs!
Not only is your furnture makeovers getting better but so is your story telling.....bravo
I wasn't sure about that black stain but damn, now I see what you were going for. Amazing handles.
I get so excited when I see that you've got something new!! You never cease to amaze me. Thank you for being you.
You gave it a Brutalist vibe. I wasn't expecting that. Very masculine. Very much a piece of art.
You deserve ten times the subscribers you have. Maybe more than that. Bravo!
Awesome makeover and I really look forward to your videos. You’re really talented in so many ways. I bet your parents are really proud of you.
Wow great way of repurposing a set of drawers 😀 Loving the funky handles too great idea to add a little something different.
idk how i found these videos but i’m glad i did these are amazing
I came for the satisfying makeover but stayed cuz of the satisfying transitions. Golly you are an editing god
I really like what you did. It looks very nice and modern. Or with other words it is up to my taste.
The piece turned out marvelous. I love both your craftsmanship and your video editing skills. Great job.
Its the Micheal Jordan of staining gloves. Nice work on the peice. Love the salvage of older materials and I might have to steal your cabinet idea for scrap wood! I have a lot.
Wow. This piece entered the 21st century and looks great.
"Nookier Nooks" haha love it. Thank you so much for these works of art! ♥
a really nice makeover. I did not think it would come out so beautiful.
This is the 4th video of yours I'm watching and I'm definitely hooked (I'm kinda binge-watching lol). But I just had to pause the video to come and comment to say how much I loved that you stopped to appreciate the beautiful katydid 😍

Absolutley loved this. I'm not a huge of modern, but the dark brown on the black background is stunning! Love the background sound too! Very fitting.
GOO! - - -> GOO GONE! 😂😂😂 That made me laugh out loud, very nice transition!
You create true works of art, both the instructional videos and the furniture! I am awed at your collection.
love the minecraft sound effects, i love that you put so much time doing different angles and stuff and take time to edit it all
I watch a lot of creative and artistic furniture refinishers. You, sir, are next level. The transformation of this piece is incredible. And your videography? Fascinating.
That’s amazing the transformation is unbelievable, to think this would of ended up in landfill 😮

I love this finished product alot. I'm not usually into modern furniture designs but dang, this is fine.
Get a card scraper from Lee Valley, it works nice to remove shellac and varnish.
Thanks
🙏🏻❤️
What a fascinating job 👏 I did not expect to see that old piece coming back to life the way you did 😍
Loved the color, the handles, and the legs. Actually I loved the whole thing.
Your craftsmanship is beautiful. And you camera and editing are excellent. Your family must be so proud of you. Thank you for sharing your gift.
You are definitely the best!
From an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan! You could almost _hear_ it saying: "Help me, Obi Wan. You're my only hope." 😜 Very. Well. Done. I'm running out of superlatives to describe your talents and your beautiful end results! ❤👍💪

You’re getting better and better with your projects.
And a very ingenious idea to use glue dogs to align all those handles. Amazing!!
That is a thing of sheer beauty! You are truly talented. Rare is the time I see a piece of furniture and want it in my home, well...that piece is something I would put in my home! Well done!

Beautiful! I would be proud to have that in my house!
Those handles! Love everything about the piece, but the handles take the cake.
You blew my socks off what talent you have thank you❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🍀👍🏼👏🏼🇺🇸
Black and brown don’t usually go well together but not too shabby. Looks nice
What you did with the handles was amazing.
your great taste for refinishing and making things look better than the original 💋👌
Such a night and day transformation! I love the unique handles!

Very original and effective design idea. Excellent!
Wow! This one is a real corker!
