Brings back memories of staying up on Saturday nights back when I was 11-12 years old 65 now my mom would still catch me at 3 in morning still watching the for all the memories you have brought back of my youth
first of all thanks for adding this to youtube! It is the only Winters' Chan that is on here., It is a reminder-that only Toler could pull this role off with his charisma-regardless if the script is weak. Winters barely appears-a blessing? Too dark a print-too many ads. Card boring direction and card boring acting. A fail-but as a novelty-thanks for the share
So he comes into the shop and says "someone is trying to kill me, and I am being followed" Response: "You sit here alone, in full view of the street while I go into the back room" Sheesh. who writes this stuff?
This commercial ridden video is and affront to civil respect and a very rude intrusion of viewing entertainment ............The video quality is horrible
Less $ was put towards these later Chan flicks, but they are still good. Actually, Roland Winters did Chan very well, better than Sidney Toler - who was also respectable, and performed the role the most often. Still, Warner Oland was the best.
No wonder everybody complains about you people Good gracious what the crap you put on I try to get one movie through one without getting interrupted by commercials then losing the thing and then I have to hunt and hunt and hunt for the damn movie back again pain in the ass

Mr Terry I was the same way now I'm 67.
I love these old movies. Thank you for sharing it.
The Charlie Chan movies are wonderful me and my mom used to watch these together thanks for the memories
I've been watching the Toler charlie chan, I didn't know Birmingham and Charlie's son was on this series, they really add to the stories.
Toler isn't in this one. It's Winters.
Roland Winters portrayed Charlie Chan in six films in the late 1940s. The Goldeneye. 1948
Danke!i love Charly Chan movies, thank you so much 😍
I love Charlie Chan 😅

Roland Winters & Mantan Moreland were a far cry from Warner Oland's Chan but still I enjoy them
Tim Ryan, who played Lt. Mike Ruark, sounds a lot like Milton Berle.
To many commercials
I see said the blind man
Charlie chan never sweats.march2021.
Thats because he is so cool.

So he comes into the shop and says "someone is trying to kill me, and I am being followed"

Sheesh. who writes this stuff?
Evidently the movie goldeneye was remade with two different Charlie Chans. I've seen anothe verion with a different Charlie Chan.

I agree. Fuzzy picture and ommercial breaks every 6.5 minutes.
An how! Joking aside, I agree...
This is so petty! You want to watch movies for free and then criticize the quality! I enjoyed the movie from beginning to end!
When TV watching is done, there are commercials too. What is the big deal. As to quality, you have to remember that this movie is over 70 years.

Burmingham is just soooo annoying. Destroys the pisture whenever he is on screen
Im sorry to say that’s how they wanted to portray black people at the tim! With wide open eyes, trembling cowards and a little stupid!
