Tonight I'm laying in a hospital bed waiting..... your music is snoothing my soul. It brings me comfort and peace. Thank you. I thank God he brought you two together and blessed you with children and music. I'm 72 and cant wait to see Jesus face to face. What will I do first when I see him? Run and hug him? Stand in awesome wonder? Fall on my knees and worship? Dance in my new body? Or jump for joy. All I want is to thank him for shedding his blood for me and forgiving my sins. He didnt have to do it, but he did bc Jesus loves me.

We must search our heart to make sure that we are clean, if there is anything that is not of God in our heart then we are not ready. We need to let go of all worldly things, smoking, drinking, clubbing, drunkeness, durty languige, furnication, adultury, stealing, lying, and all the others that you can think of. May God grace and mercy be with you.

In a daily devotion for my readership, I linked to this song after sharing these words: "Keep Your Eyes On The Prize"
,Jesus told his disciples, while in the middle of sharing about the many distressful things that would be happening just ahead of His return, "In your patience possess ye your souls." (Luke 21:19) Don't lose control of yourself, even if the world seems 'out of control'! The modern paraphrased Bible, 'The Message', gives this simple translation: "Staying with it-that’s what is required. Stay with it to the end. You won’t be sorry; you’ll be saved." Can't be any plainer than that.
In the military, a command to keep us at attention and alert was "Eyes Front!" In sports, it is usually, "Keep your eye on the ball". For the Christians it's, "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Hebrews 12:2)

It is a beautiful thing how the Lord makes us all so unique. I can't clap and keep time with a song in church, thankfully others have been blessed with musical talents. We all have our strong points, and as I have heard you say. We must find our strong points and make them work to the glory of th Lord. Thank you for your channel and unwavering message.
This song reminds me a lot of my friend John - a Navajo - and his daughter La Wuanta who had her biggest celebration for a girl that 3 days. She had her first bleeding and therefore stayed with her grandmother for days in a Hogan and learned how to make bread and so many other things, and every morning she ran against the son and other children ran with her but they should not be faster than her. If you have time read Dine Baha - the story of the Navajo and how they see their Creation and different levels of lives, Spirits, and actually whole Worlds. John introduced me to Sharon Burch and one of her Albums (Touch the sweet earth) is "Brother Warrior" - the song which immediately came into my mind when I hear your song. Thanks a whole lot for your nice song which refreshed my memories too about friends I met in 1997 in their Tippi together with 24 Students I brought from Germany to the USA. We had visited Mesa Verde just the day before and continued driving via Hovenweep NM towards National Bridges Monument in our 2 MiniVans. Before we came along lots of those round huts "Hogans" - www.google.com/maps/@37.4122764,-109.3461218,928m/data=!3m1!1e3 - As we had no idea what it was and students were asking I suggested to simply ask them. so somewhere in nowhere, I would say after we saw sich a hut I turned into one of those dirt roads which led us to such a round hut. A girl (La Wuanta 13 at that time) came to us and honestly my students were totally scarred and I actually to a bit. For us all, it was to meet real Native people from America and until then we only knew them from Westerns in Movies and our German "Karl May" haha. I told my students to stay in the car and went out - It turned out so great. we were actually totally strangers and they welcomed us like we knew each other already for decades. John even then wanted us to stay until the next day, as he wanted to build up the Tippi together with us - a ceremony which is sacred with poles from a sacred wood - I like adventure well and my students had the chance of their life to experience to sleep in a real Tippi together with a Navajo and his family and having at the evening a very long talk about Code readers, from their children forced in western culture and losing their identity - that was when I first then heard about Sharon Burch. - I like her song First Cry a lot and sing it still often - and so many other stores from the Navajo - it was so interesting. This was in 1997 and so many years passed by where we never met in person again. Sad but your song wayfaring stranger brought back all those memories. Thanks a lot. -
