Awesome video 😄😄😄. Can you please make a video about calculations of Moment of inertia and Radius of gyration of uncoventional sections or un symmetric built-up sections?
Thanks for this video. Can you please make a video about Equations one needs to consider while designing Steel Beam? How one can design a Steel beam under UDL & point Load circumstances? It can be with a simple example of 4 beams with 4 columns at each corner (BS & Eurocode) You are doing a great job.
I noticed the truss has the supports as pin - pin. Could you kindly comment on what would be preference considering the other simply supported option of pin - roller?
I want to ask after calculating the moment, force and Ird. Then how do I choose the sizes of materials. How I know the size of materials that will withstand the span
Thanks for the video. One question please, after getting the value of M and F, where are their usage? How do these two value impact on selecting the size of the chords?
@@StructuralEngineerCalcs thank you! By the way, would you arrange other video how to calculate/determine the size of bracing also? 😁 Very apreciate if you would make video like that because I haven't get any video showing how to determine the bracing 🙏
@@StructuralEngineerCalcs or we can just use the formula to calculate beam buckling by assuming the joint is both pin? And one more question 😅 Does the w covered only the external load or included the truss member mass itself?
Great video. U haven't mentioned the use of interaction equation check for design of chord. Also the use of buckling factor for compression members need to be addressed here. Besides kindly please share the design of steel moment resisting connections. Thanks
Excellent, right to the point, brief and comprehensive.
This channel is exactly what I was looking for. Simply incredible. ❤❤❤❤❤
❤️
it is awesome video tutorial i have ever watched
Superb Explanation LOVED it....❤❤❤
Great! Beautiful numbers. But as a practical guy, how do we transform these numbers to physical dimensions to the truss elements?
Excellent. Thank you very much
Great video! I've learnt so much following you thanks guys!
architecture s
Brief & concise. Hope to see more. Thanks.
thank you.✍
what is the area use for computing the I for vs the I required? thank you the answer
Very useful tips, thanks
Hello! Thank you for the video! Is this valid for "warren truss" for example ?
Perfectly made and explained. Keep up the good work
Glad it was helpful!
Im needing this for a solar roof! thx
When working out I, what area is it? Cross sectional area of both cords?
great thanks
Are tensiometers ever used in field tests??? If so, when??? Thanks
very informative video...
i hope you will update information video about selection of steel types for different structures.
Hello. Could you please to tell me if this formula for determinate "d" can be use if the truss have descending diagonals? Thank you.
Awesome video 😄😄😄. Can you please make a video about calculations of Moment of inertia and Radius of gyration of uncoventional sections or un symmetric built-up sections?
If I may request pls. If you make a video for CW structl calcs. pls.? Thanks in advance.
Thanks
Can you make a video on how to design for the internal members?

You are doing a great job.
Hello, you did a great tutorial.
Can you confirm me that the area used in area of truss formula is in square meters?
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing! if you can make the steel column design with baseplate in AISC code is great.
Thanks for the idea!
Hello. Is the acquired I = 45.4 cm^2 good for both top and downcord? Or only for one cord (either top or down) ? Hope to read from you.
Which cords are in compression and tension would like too see also deflections at various point
How to calculate roof load
Can I remove the diagonal member why was it needed?

Whats the name of the text containing these please
Nice..
Great

No material thickness... how? 😢
Hello and thank you. I would like to ask, does the I required is for one cord only or for both cord (top and bottom) added? Thank you
Thank you for your comment. The I required is for both cords!

@@caktidhewana2910 It's on our to do list! Stay tuned.
The beam measures 22.5 meters, what is the distance of each segment or triangle in meters???
Which structural Code are you using sir?
BS & Eurocode

good load bearing capacity calculation of truss # but the load bearing capacity also greatly depends on the gauge , thickness , of the truss pipes #🇵🇰
Delta = L/360 or L/250 ??
Each cord on the truss can be evaluated using joint resolution
Using 40*40*1.6 mm pipe. Flat truss 40 * 1.6mm pipe * 10 inches is it enough for 30 feet shed without middle support.(pillar)
How to caculate A ( I = A.d^2/2 )
So do I.
Ireq: 675 wl3/(EI) inch4
Any videos on lighting trusses for stages?😂
The measurements are not difficult and the formula was exact.
8 meters long
Wait?!? Is it that simple?!?
Thank you for the video
Very interesting videos. Thanks
