This tutorial is fantastic! Its everything I've been looking for in a recessed zipper tote WITHOUT A GAP between the ends of zipper and the outer fabric. I'm going to use this to make a JUMBO insulated grocery tote. (you can't have a gap, and your tutorial for this type of recessed zipper is the only one like it that I've found.) Thank you so much!! . Great tutorial. What is the best kind or weight of interfacing to use?
I use tangerine M33. But the choice depends on the level of stiffness and thickness we want🙂
How do you get the zipper evenly sewn on each side? Looks like one side is wider than the other.
I can not get zipper pull on tape. I have two projects that Te useless until I can get zipper on.

How strong are those handles? I noticed that they are only attached to the bag with very little reinforcement. Just wanted to know because I'm making this as a lunch tote for my mom and didn't know if it was sturdy enough
Stitch repeatly on the handles to make it stronger
