I have my Literature mock exam today, the other half of my AS level, and I am so glad for your channel, thank you so much! You deserve more subscribers :)
This video was very good! Very easy to follow and understand. I have my A-Level English literature A exam on the 24th 🥲. Perhaps you can you do a video on the top quotes/analysis for the anthology’s poems? I watched your Gatsby one and I’m forever thankful!
A great question! The simplest answer to that would be the ones you’re least confident on, as everyone has their strong points. Personally I think The Scrutiny, The Garden of Love and Absent from Thee are the most tenuous but that’s just me.
@@GuigLit yeah if possible, so if we got a question like 'how is the theme of unrequited love explored in two of the texts you have studied', or something similar. I hope that makes sense?!🤣
you're amazing, got my a level English literature exam tomorrow and this is the most useful video I've watched. thanks mate

@@GuigLit thank you very much!
You’re welcome! Putting it together now. Will film and send out this coming weekend.
@@GuigLit That would be absolutely brilliant - Thank you!
Same!! Good luck ❤
Can you please do a video on Streetcar or Handmaids Tale🙏
Absolutely!
Can you please do a video on the theme of "Taking Responsibility for one's actions" in All My Sons? I find your analyses extremely helpful
Hi! Thank you for your kind words. I’ll put that on my checklist 👍
Can you do a similar video for A streetcar named Desire?
I can try!!
What poems would you recommend avoiding in a comparison with Gatsby?

Thank you❤
You’re welcome! 😊
Can you go through a exemplar essay on this ? Or show a good structure or essay writing technique on this , thanks
Hi! I’m so sorry for the delay. I’ve a video that should help you coming up this weekend 😊 thanks for your comment.
I was wondering if you have any tips for unseen prose as I’m really struggling with it. Thank you :)
Always consider protagonist, setting and the way a narrative/prose progresses, they’re all key!
how would you go about structuring the essay? Thanks:)
In short, the best practice is to treat it as three mini essays that link back to the one before it to establish AO4
Do you know what the 2022 questions were?
I can find out for you!
@@GuigLit yes please
Could you possibly do a video on the key themes within the poetry anthology and how they correlate with Gatsby?
Sure!! Kind of like the reverse of this?
@@GuigLit yeah if possible, so if we got a question like 'how is the theme of unrequited love explored in two of the texts you have studied', or something similar. I hope that makes sense?!🤣
Absolutely!! That makes perfect sense 😊 thanks for the suggestion!

Hey I left a link it really helped me hope you find some clues, I think they did a good job comparing gatsby to the poems c
is it okay for me to only revise the poems you recommend? are they flexible for any question that might be asked tomorrow?
It’s a starting point and should give you enough variety. Best of luck!
