Mine serial number is 367-. I put a 22 brass case in it with bullet and powder removed. I put it on fire and then decocted it hammer forward and no mark on the brass case. I then fired trigger and left a mark. Mine is fine. Did talk Ruger. This is test can run. I have fired 3000 plus bullets thru it in the last 4 years I own this gun.
Thanks for this Clip ! I have one of these SR 22P .. Bought it about 3 months ago.. mine falls under the under the Safety Bulletin .. So I brought it to Turner's .. & Their sending it in to Ruger for inspection .. Just to be SAFE .. !!! said it might take a few weeks ! My wife shoots this pistol .. and I want no mishaps😁 !!!
This recall is being run very efficiently. Note you can ONLY use Fedex for the return of the gun. They had it 2 weeks and fixed and test fired it. The return required my signature. Very good program.
And this is the reason why lots of people do not carry a gun with a bullet in the chamber or want a gun with a safety switch because of things like this this is not the first time and it won't be the last gun with this kind of problem
