I feel like you use very unique/unusual colors I would never in a million years think of but they always look so good and you obviously know how to pick colors that compliment your skin tone. 👏
Hello Andrea!I am slowly watching all of your podcasts, starting from the beginning. Your Selene is my very favorite piece of all of your knits… I look forward to the day you finish it, it is truly a work of art. I am currently knitting the Selene Junior for my grandson, in Isager Soft, it’s very very dreamy! Thank you for sharing your knitting and your lovely self with all of us! -Karen in Maine
Yes, yes, yes, the Zoom was a delight. So many sweet people, interesting projects and supportive words. Really a treat. And that Nutiden! The green is so reminiscent of my 'granny smith' apple Donna Jenna. Thank you for another sweet episode. Enjoy your Mom-time, over coffee and knitting together.
Thank you for a fab podcast!!! Just Love the designs and colourways you choose for your projects 💃💥🧶🧶🧶and it’s very relaxing yet still inspiring just listening to your content 🙏🙏🙏💥🧶❣️
Another super enjoyable video! LOVE all of your knits, and the beautiful yarn you choose for them! You're so inspiring! The shawl you were wearing looks super beautiful on you--the color is gorgeous and super elegant! Can't wait to see your next works in progress and finished objects! Thanks for sharing, Andrea! ❤
This is my first time to watch you. I enjoyed all your projects and your enthusiasm. In reference to your linen thoughts. I hear it softens up beautifully when it is Washed and worn. I just don’t enjoy knitting with it. I made one top with Juniper moon Farm linen, I didn’t enjoy knitting it or wearing it. Hope your experience is wonderful.
I love the Sunday Shawl that you did. I want to bring this pattern with me to Italy and find the perfect yarn in a beautiful yarn store somewhere in Florence....
Another beautiful episode! Love love love your pattern and yarn choices. Sadly I had to miss the zoom as mum-duties prevailed...sounds like it was fun so hopefully next time. I too have the Trio 2 for the Seashell Set! I have to admit I'm a little daunted by the thought of it! It seems like quite a task...! So I look forward to seeing how you get on with it. X
Oh my goodness you are adorable. I so enjoy your podcasts. Your Selene sleeve is perfection! Such a great way of making a pattern your own. And your shawl is epic! Please come to Toronto🙏! Sonder yarns will be vending! I ordered nutiden for the first time ever. Actually my son ordered it as a surprise. Any suggestions for patterns? Love to hear. ❤
The Zoom was wonderful! I made a cardigan & a tank top out of Euroflax linen - Webs now carries it - and it get softer with every wash. I made the cardigan years ago & it still looks new. About a fiber fest in Pomona - the SoCal Fiber Fair will be there again in November. I’ll need to see if there’s something happening in the next few weeks.
Thanks, Stephanie! The fair was actually in Vista- too far to go for one day for me, but morkmadefiber went and sent a beautiful photo of her holding a baby sheep.
Andrea, your Zoom this week was such a blast! I continue to be inspired by your choices of designs and yarns. I'd love to embark on another shawl later in 2024. I'm lookin' at a roster of several sweaters that I want to crank out over the next few months. What I get from watching your vids is that you can color outside the lines as you wish to fabulous effect- a n important reminder for us rule-followers! Cheers to creativity 🎉
Enjoyable episode. Love your makes. I find linen really grows a lot, so you might want to make a bigger swatch in the trio yarn;). I’ve used Shibui linen and Quince Kestrel and both garments gre a lot. I’ve also used blends like Sandesgarn Line and it also grew (maybe I need to knit tighter). I’m currently working on an Aster shawl by Natasja Hornby, in Sonder Yarn Co Muse. just started the border and I’ve got over 400 stitches. The Mare and Lunae shawls of hers are on my to-do list. I’m also working on a Havin vest by Isabelle Kraemer.
Loving all your knits. Your appreciation for color is infectious. Given my love of neutrals, it’s inspiring. I’m working on the Yara shawl by Natasha Hornby. A monumental mosaic shawl. A very fun and engaging knit. The Mare shawl is on my list too.
Re linen I love to knit with -- Quince & Co's aran weight 100% linen which I'm drawing a blank on the name of. I've knit several summer sweaters in it and the colors and drape are really wonderful. Deschaines sweater is my fave. I have 3. Thank you for a wonderful podcast!
Great color choices in the Pierre shawl. I have this pattern, you inspired me to cast on. I am close to finishing the Dustland using a natural cormo in a dark cocoa color.
Lovely easter knitting company (as always). The Nutiden is stunning, and it's for sure on my wish list. So inspired with your color work - Ann Wensel it is on my list now :). I have one pure line from Isager, that is a bit shiny (and maybe paperlike :)) and another from Dale garn that is 85% recycled lin-rayon blend+ 15% pure lin. So I will start at least one sommer top really soon for my Venizia and Tuscany art trip in the beginning of June. Oh I also remember that I saw your flutter buttershirt that I will do with Gann Garn Mild cotton/Rayon/Linen
I really love evrithing you do and share,.I've been looking for a long time a poadcast like yours ! Every thnig you do is so gorgeous yhat i would like to do me too 😀. Thanks so much and greetings from Italy.
Another fiber festival in Pomona? They just had one not that long ago. My favorite linen to use is Ullcentrum. It’s hard to find in shops here and my online shop no longer carries it. I made a Ranunculus with is and it’s my favorite summertime tee. Beautiful knits and yarns!
Is the fiber festival in Pomona this weekend? I’ve been looking online and am not finding info. I love your podcast and would love to meet you sometime. I’m in LA, too! Happy knitting to you! Thank you 😊
typos alert! it's Teti Lutsak, not Yeti, who designed the wonderful Laneus Shawl (i am currently knitting my fourth...) -- and the nutiden color is Blåljus, with a u not an i, which means blue light (like on emergency vehicles who do rescue work)
I feel like you use very unique/unusual colors I would never in a million years think of but they always look so good and you obviously know how to pick colors that compliment your skin tone. 👏
Thank you
This was just sooooo awesome to watch! I really enjoyed every second! ❤️❤️❤️

There are many good options for unspun- I've made the Donna Jenna pullover and the Yohira shawl and adore them both.
Thank you so much. I love all your makings 🧶😊

Wondering about the Zoom! Did you think we all appeared as you had thought of us?! Does that even make sense?
I loved the Zoom so much! Loved seeing your faces and talking together- very special way to kickstart this idea of zoom gatherings:)
