Vidding is so damn frustrating. I've been trying to finish this video for months and even now I don't feel confident about it. Cersei and Tywin dynamic is one of my favorite things about this book series and I thought this song would be perfect to showcase at least part of this wonderfully written (and acted) relationship.
The basic sides I wanted to show were: Cersei desperately seeking Tywin's approval by doing things the way she believes he would do, trying to show him she can be powerful and become a reason of pride for House Lannister. Even when Robert beats her, when the world tells her she's just there to breed sons, even when her own son becomes a monster, she puts on the brave face and goes after what she wants because she's a lion of the Rock, trueborn daughter of Tywin Lannister. But Tywin will always see Cersei as a woman, whose job is to marry and breed, not rule a kingdom ( "No, no, no. I object to wedding any-" "Remember your duty.") This is hands down the best cersei video I have ever seen! The song fit perfectly for her and for her relationship with her father. The instrumental part with all the voiceovers and sound effects was incredibly well done. beautiful job!

Incredible, absolutely perfect. Cersei's struggle to gain her father's approval and their dynamic given his cold and cruel character is amazing to watch. They are both so loathsome and so similar, but only she can see it.
All and all, I think Tywin did love her the most. She as closes to her mother's memory. Like Jo, still lived and breathed some how through her.. And he did admost best to keep her safe. But never will admit he made mistakes insuring that.
I knew this was going to be great before I even watched it because of the title (this song for Cersei!!) and because it's your video and you always make amazing vids, but this still managed to blow my mind. You've captured the relationship between Cersei and Tywin and her desire to rule so perfectly!!
