I was daily driving the Pixel 8 Pro and S23 Ultra back-to-back. The Pixel 8 Pro was great, but the battery life was a major disappointment. I could unplug it at 8 am and kill it by 3 pm. In normal mode, you do not put your phone on the table and use it, and this causes a huge difference in temperature. Try putting something under them. You can literally put anything, and it is the cheapest thing, because in normal mode, you use it with your hand, which makes the heat dissipation better.
That is what makes these battery tests so odd. I saw another video where the Iphone 15 Pro Max gained victory. I'm a S24U user. Which means I'm glad it did such a great job in this one. I think the other video I saw, The S24U lasted a little shy of 10 hours. Where in this video, it had another hour + of battery life. Where the Iphone in the last video was about the same. I think the last video, the Iphone was at 10hrs 41 mins so not much of a difference. A lot of people also need to realize is that these phones usually last more then just 10 hours. Because you have to include screen off time. But no matter which phone is your choice, they all last pretty much all day.

I guess the Samsung. It's modem is the best of them I think. Qualcomm..
how is this possible? in every test on UA-cam that I see there is a brand that wins, even though it is always against the same phones, I don't understand anything anymore, and I don't trust
feel sorry for those who fell for the pixel hype and bought it
Still a great phone - especially AI cam stuff. Seriously lagging here though.
That was a great work. Try to do a charging test as well, we want to see which one charges the fastest without getting too much hot.
Some people said x100 pro isnt that battery efficient, as mtk doesnt have efficiency cores this time. Idk whom to believe.
efficiency cores can just be worse quality cores with lower clockspeed, because at peak Clockspeed, they would consume less energy than the main core at peak.
You could also just take more of the main cores and just clock them lower and get better efficiency than the so called "efficiency cores"
@@fa14bi-78 oh yes thats a better implementation. However the battery for me has been phenomenal on 9300. Except for the high drain while using camera especially video rec. I can always rely on the battery all day.
When they were dead, you should have done a speed test on fast charging. That would have been awesome to see who would reach 100% the fastest.
Tom the Tech Chap more like Tom The Tech GOAT, thanks for this brother, god bless.
Hello, can you tell me which phone is better in terms of photography and gaming?
اي هاتف افضل في نضرك للتصوير والالعاب
The new update on the s24 Ultra has provided it a better battery performance. Kodus to Samsung.
Yes, it lost against the iphone before the latest update. Atleast thats how other tests have been
The latest iOS has a battery drain bug that affects many iPhone 15's. Not sure if this one is affected.
@@Randomdude21-enot all tho
Thank you so much for the is Review,, 🙏🙏🙏🙏
considering that iPhone have "slowest" display which consume much less energy, them any other in this row, there is nothing impressive about iPhone in this test
Thats good, cuz for years they were allowed to be lazy. Now they have to try again -> Competition!
Seeing the iPhone has 1000mAh less battery than most of these then the others have little to brag about, though the S24U deserves praise as its battery was ony 15% larger than the iPhone.
What you mean slowest display? Makes no sense. iPhone has the smallest battery yet is this good and it’s also been out 6 months. Other phones are basically brand new.
If only the iPhone would cram in a 5000mAh battery in and given what you can get it’d be epic… will the expected iPhone ultra have one close to this size???
A good test as usual, but in the benchmark test, try running the high performance on Oppo and OnePlus devices
Thanks for the effort to make this video. This is top notch content and very informative!!! Well done Sir! Greetings from Poland
One Plus 12 perfect ✅
Would have been nice to see an standby period of like 16h in between.
4:30 you can hear the disappointment in his voice when he realized Samsung has defeated Apple. Then he is trying to suggest its a one of scenario by saying , "...at least in this test". but the truth of the matter is that every other battery test ( at least those I have seen, and trust me i watch a lot ) the Samsung comes out on top.
Definitely also honor has better battery I had the magic 5 pro and after a while the battery improved by almost 2 hours and I got the magic 6 pro and vivo has learned how you use it so overall honor is better and in my experience honor gives more battery
It’s not disappointment. In my experience with pure video playback the iPhone wins, but in varied general use the Samsung will outlast it.
@Thetechchap nobody plays with video for such long time
In tests like techdroider technick phonebuff, iphone did beat galaxy
They are being paid even here teck chap was disappointed @vikinnorway6725
I was planning on getting the Honor, it didn't disappoint. Lasted longest of all the snapdragon devices
Oneplus has sd 8 gen 3
Geil, ich bin nur ein bisschen neidisch. 💪💪💪
क्यों?
@@अभय_अग्रवालIch würde auch gerne mal eine Woche mit den ganzen Smartphones verbringen. Einfach mal eine Runde testen.
So which one to buy now x100 pro or Oneplus 12? I THINK not only battery or camera but performance & UI also matters.
Apple fan boy must be disappointed by the IPhone's battery performance....
They'll still buy it
Btw don't fear the fanboy worry about all the girl wannabe influencers. They are the largest market
lol 10hrs 30 minutes, what’s there to be disappointed about?
10.5 hours with a tiny battery compared to rivals is astonisghing and a marvel of optimisation. All Apple has to do it release it with the same size as rivals and it would crush them. But Apple does not need to resort to just increasing battery size year-on-year, they instead optimise. Sooner than later these Android phones will no longer be able to keep increasing the size so I hope they start optimising better.
@@andyH_Englandyep, why put a bigger battery in a phone that can't really do anything special and is so bland. It's like having a Ford pinto with a Ferrari engine, pretty much a waste of money.
@@stevenkapute1846slow charging 😂😂❤️
Hello, xiaomi (this and other models) have a problem with overheating, what do you know?
Смартфон vivo
Great video!

Can't easily buy it in markets where my audience mostly live (shame as it's a great phone)
I have been waiting for this
🎉But Vivo 5400ah, Honor 5600ah while Sumsungs24U only 5000ah ! So the winner is S24U 🎉🎉🎉
Vivo X100 Pro is the best phone I've ever owned! My first vivo phone and I ain't going back. The camera is sick.
I want to buy one but i heard it's battery is not good sometimes it gave u 6 hrs running sometimes it gave u 9 hrs what do you think
iphone over priced poor man's phone.paying more for limited os such an i diots thing.
You are clueless p4p battery size it's no. 1 🙄
@@chunkyfxdls1878 and now take in attention that iPhone have a worst display in this row, which consume "twice" less energy, we are coming back to that nothing good about iPhone in this test =)
@stillans6424 haters gonna hate.... that all you've got that's pathetic and 💯 untrue 🤯
@@stillans6424newer display are more efficient, and the iphone is the oldest phone there. All display was set to the same brightness. And as we know resolution makes zero differense in batterylife..

Yes. I have feedback.
Please use a lux meter in between the test to look fro brightness throttling.
Also if you could explain what is the use of checking the temperature.
lol
Come on, temperature is self explanatory. Shows how well the cooling system does, and the higher the temperature the worse the battery drain and degradation over time.
@@steveguy3 It's not that simple. iPhones have been cooler every year, yet the battery degradation is worst in iPhones.
@@nikhilagarwal5295 got anything to back that up? Or did you just pull it out your rear?
@@steveguy3 could ask you the same.
Google phones are just awful😂
They are not awful? Great camera, great screen, the best os of all of them, the only slight downside is battery but a average user can easily get a day of battery life no problem at all.
@@wakinguptothetruth.2566i don't think google has the best android skin.. samsung is still the benchmark of android and the Face of android. Google can only dream.
I preferred honor phone, and the mother brand.
Second option is vivo and xiaomi and rano series of OPPO and OnePlus.
I don't fancy the rest brand
The mobile in right hand side that run timer in hole video without discharge, that mobile battery is insane 😮😮😮
because it just run timer not like heavy stuff to do with your phone, I bet my phone with 4000mah battery can last more than 12 hour with just open & run timer/clock
@@pudinichigo91 ok I understand 👍 , thank you for telling 😊😊😊
It's impressive how Samsung has really been able to stretch out that 5,000 milliamp hour battery
I was daily driving the Pixel 8 Pro and S23 Ultra back-to-back. The Pixel 8 Pro was great, but the battery life was a major disappointment. I could unplug it at 8 am and kill it by 3 pm. The S23 Ultra was far better. When the S24 Ultra was announced, I traded in the S23 Ultra and sold the Pixel 8 Pro. The S24 Ultra's battery life is amazing! I'm easily getting through a day, it's retired my portable chargers.
The problem is how long do the batteries last with that efficiency? After a few months of use, repeat the test and the results will surely be different.
Absolutely - and that's kinda tricky to test. All will degrade (obviously) and outcomes over time is all down to particular usage patterns.
I have the iPhone 15 Pro Max and I am glad to say that I am UPGRADING to the OnePlus 12. The OnePlus 12 is seriously impressive for the price. I am trading the 15 Pro Max in for the OP12 and I don’t have to pay any difference. I’m glad to escape Apples matrix.
This test was awesome. Really worth doing!
Samsung S24 ultra with 5000Mah battery, I didn't expect this😮
You are from UK right? Where is also Exynos variant is sold? So you should added Exynos S24+.
Turn on high performance mode and higher refresh rate then run benchmark on OnePlus 12 then you'll see it's true performance
Great content ❤
As an owner of Vivo X100 pro (Chinese Rom) I can confirm that the battery is really very good. Last more than a day, and that is with lots of gaming and watching UA-cam
Dimensity 9300 its just the best procesor ever got the phone and i am soo happy every game fast smoth long batery life best cameras.
Finally, a battery drain test that accurately captures the real iPhone battery life.
Does not having a quad hd screen make any difference in better performance?
Zenfone 11 Ultra - прям лучший смартфон для игр походу, такой ровный график производительности, тротлинга почти нет...
OnePlus 12 is truly beast I am using it , It is like my best phone ❤❤
In normal mode, you do not put your phone on the table and use it, and this causes a huge difference in temperature. Try putting something under them. You can literally put anything, and it is the cheapest thing, because in normal mode, you use it with your hand, which makes the heat dissipation better.
I'm not sure my hand is better at heat dissipation than a big table
