IMO the best album ever made. I'll never forget the first time I heard it 50 years ago. I just sat there stunned by what I had just heard. It changed music forever for me.
I literally did the cliche lying down in a darkened room with headphones with my pristine vinyl copy of DSOTM and Ive never been the same since , Mind altering without drugs seriously
I could never and still cannot understand how a band can be so good, they are perfect. Everything is perfect wow!! There will never ever be another band quite like them.
The perfect conclusion to the perfect album. This is the song that first made me appreciate the "lunacy" that resides within all of us. This song made it OK to to admit your own issues, recognizing that we all have them.
This one was written for you, Mark! After getting yer brain damaged by Pink Floyd so many times, it’s only appropriate that you’d end up here! I enjoyed this one as much as any of your previous PF reactions and it makes me smile to know you’ve only scratched the surface of their catalog!
I enjoy the hell out of your Pink Floyd reactions. And I am looking forward to the day you react to the whole album. Here is a like and comment to help your channel grow and get you the recognition you deserve.
Was having a crap day till i logged on and saw Pink Floyd... talk about picking the perfect toon to help mellow me back down ..your channel is truly a breath of fresh air in a polluted world
Mark, I f**king love you! Best reaction channel on UA-cam by lightyears - so keep on doing what you're doing, because you really truly geddit. Every PF track takes us somewhere. Every time. As ever, another brilliant reaction video - and yeah, like many other PF devotees, I've been waiting for you to discover this one, because it was just bound to speak directly to the glorious fizzing multicoloured chaos inside your head. Pink Floyd's music never gets old - it's every bit as unique, genuinely mind- and emotion-expanding and f**k, let's just say it, transcendental today as it was when it was first released all those decades ago. It's genius and we won't see their like again. RIP Rick Wright. PS Yes I also can't wait for you to find the time to listen to the whole album in one go - though I'm slightly afraid what it might do to you. Have a quiet dark room with a comfy pillow nearby. PPS It's so weird - I'm so pleased you're discovering PF but also more than a little jealous at the same time that you're getting to hear these masterpieces for the first time.
6:25... Day of reconning. I love this lunatic with all my heart, because he is so real. What a joy you are to us all with every reaction. You are the greatest. Thank you.
I danced with you :) Eclipse is a goosebump generator throughout the entire piece. But the record... Is the most beautiful album of all time, in my opinion.
Hell YEAH, back to the Floyd! CEREBRAL POETS!!! The Brain Squeeze theme music Bruv!!! It's going to blow your f****** mind when you finally get to listen to this entire album in one sitting, and I WILL BE HERE FOR IT!
PF music is still relevant and ahead of its time, even though the Album DSOTM was released 50 years ago this month. They are Gods!! It still speaks to me!
😊😊😊 I shit you not that album start to finish just gets better and better the more you play it..😊 I saw them do this live, 1974 Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon tour, Empire theatre Liverpool aged 14....😳 AND they did Echoes for an encore ❤❤❤
You are NOT over-reacting. That album may be one of the greatest achievements in the history of music, not joking. Glad you had the opportunity to discover this.
Floyd is just the perfect band. They transcend music, they are art. There will be those who disagree but....... Who puts more into engineering an album? Who puts more into production? Who puts on a better live show? They pay attention to details. BEST BACK UP SINGERS EVER!
Pink Floyd are the best band ever, again for a lot of us more than 50yrs, as a teenager Dark side of the Moon poster was on my bedroom wall, I had all of their albums, & I’ve loved David Gilmour since I was 16, I’m 65 now 😳
Dark Side was my wife's first ever live concert way back in the day. We both still love their music and remember that first venture. Just like your good self. Brilliant reaction - thanks again...
Glad you're back to some Pink Floyd! These two tracks are such a perfect package, the tragic tale of the descent into madness. And that last line is pure brilliance... "and everything under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon".
A tiny thing that everyone seems to miss is that when they sing the words "everything under the sun is in tune" they purposely sing the word Tune slightly out of tune! Which to me, says that to believe that things are going perfectly is just an illusion.
I think it's more about the climb out of madness, seeing the manipulation of 'society' for what it is and rejecting it - what society CALLS madness in an attempt to 'keep the loonies on the path', remembering the normality of childhood and the life that was intended for you before being shaped into, to borrow from another album, just another brick in the wall. This is why the whole album is just one song. Side one is the 'normal' life, side two is the realisation of how abnormal that life really is and the 'punishment' inflicted by vested interests for rebelling against it.
I love all your shit but Pink Floyd is how I found you and I will never get bored of you reacting to them. Watching you react makes me relive listening to it for the first time
The great thing about Pink Floyd is the details they put in their music. The things in the background that you can barely hear, but adds so much to the song. It’s the details in the music which sets them apart from everyone else. They were geniuses and will never be replicated by anyone.
I have watched an embarrassing number of reaction videos and I think that you, sir, have recorded the most wild, intense reaction I have ever seen! Congratulations for being real and feeling beautiful music!
Your reactions are awesome, so authentic and energetic. Thank you. I'm still waiting for you to reaction to "one of these days" from the Pulse concert. I can only conclude that you are scared that your brain may explode. I have faith, you can handle it...maybe.
Hey, mate, I think you are ready for Pink Floyd Yet Another Movie. Its a movie indeed, you'll fall in love. Hope you will survive and waiting for that song for reaction. Love your energy ❤
I was waiting for you to riff on the "Brain" themes, lol! Excellent reaction as usual, especially since we know you're not monetized and trying to curry favor with fake enthusiasm! This is one of the goose-pimpliest rock songs I know. One of the most lyrically meaningful, emotionally affecting, and musically dramatic tunes I've ever heard.
I knew as soon as I saw the thumbnail that this was going to be meaningful to you and you’d have a great reaction. I’ve been listening to this album since it came out and this gives me goose bumps every time. It’s so fun to go on this journey with you, I love your energy. Cheers from Texas!
I could sit on my desert island with Dark Side on repeat and be perfectly happy with my choice. It's like the monolith from 2001. It's from another space and time and we're here to learn from it.
I specifically looked for your reaction to this bc I knew it would resonate. I would listen to my brother's album, especially this song, in the 7th grade and wonder if I was truly related to my family in any way. Felt like an outsider to say the least. Crazy life ensues to this day.
It's amazing that this is still so good, after 50 yrs❤. Still one of my favorites, since I was (I can't remember when I first heard them)...what was I talking about😂. It's been a long time(Zeppie ref)since I first heard PF. I was a baby😂.❤
I LOVE YOUR PINK FLOYD REACTIONS!!! More Pulse concert, you'll love watching these amazing tunes live!! Their Pulse concert is EPIC. From start to finish.
SO thrilled you got to experience this! Floyd Nation has embraced YOU. But the ultimate journey is the LIVE show. Do they block you from doing their live videos? You need to experience what Roger Waters has done recently. The Wall tour or the US & Them tour are next level.
Rogers Management has been very intense on protecting their rights (which is weird because they let everyone post videos of the wall tour UNTIL they put out the official video). I've seen two reviews of Rogers stay on UA-cam. David and PF let anyone review their concert material.. But if its a Wall song, rogers management sometimes tries to come in. The feud is still on-going. 😥 They seem more protective of whatever material Roger is doing on tour..
My theme song, being 15 when this came out and a first intro to PF, this was amazing, back then, a boys bedroom was plastered with blacklight posters, and aluminum foil....a little Boones farm apple wine and some cheap pot....and this...this astonishing piece of music, it was a glorious time to be alive. The actual end is a small voice, There is no dark side of the moon, matter of fact, it's all dark.
What an incredible reaction! I think of all the reviewers on here, you're the one that 'gets' Floyd. Keep up your honest, open reactions. I wish I had a quid for every time I've fallen asleep listening to the whole of this album...since the seventies
There is nothing wrong with you or your brain. You are unique and beautiful like everyone else. That label comes from an industry that profits from convincing you and other unique individuals there is something abnormal about you. You are perfect. And thanks for another awesome reaction. Much love to you xo
This song made me cry the first time I heard it,in 1974 or 75. And it STILL makes me cry......sitting here bawling my eyes out at the beauty of it❤❤❤ Probably bc like you Hector,,I can relate to it so much too.....
Love your reactions, especially to PF! Best band ever IMO! I knew when I saw the songs you were going to do that this would be great! I'm laughing and loving it! Pink Floyd lives!
The love you show for music I grew up with brings me to tears every time. You connect in the same way my adhd head sees the music. I love other bands but with Floyd it’s like the first listen every time I hear it. Love you and your passion for my music.
Music that taps directly into your soul. Reminds you of all the good that truly exists even in these darker times. This is the foundation of the universe in musical form.
I so love your PF reactions! Just watching you react to this song was like listening to it for the first time AND at the same time being moved by the way you react to it... so of course, tears come down, again! Thanks Hector! You are the best PF reactor 😍
You've become my favorite channel on You Tube and I know you get a lot of requests, but I'd still like to request for next time you react to them Pink Floyd's Poles Apart off The Division Bell album. Such a beautiful and very underrated song. 💜✌🏽
I knew this one would resonate with you! I'm fairly new to this channel (I can for the Zeppelin, actually...) but when I realized you'd done a bunch of PF, I was looking forward to getting to this one.
This album can make sane insane and insane sane, both in a good way. Soon you're ready for Pink Floyds more crazy stuff, like Roger Waters' epic "Several species of small furry animals gathered together in a cave and grooved with a Pict", from Ummagumma 1969. -Be warned and prepared!
I have listened to Floyd since a teen in the mid80s , but watching your reaction is humbling and refreshing. As you remind us of what we all felt, that 1ST time we heard it. Please do a reaction to the whole album DSOTM. Its a single piece.
Lmao I was just vibing listening to this reaction. But that line “I’ve got about 6” talking about the lunatics in his head caught me off guard and made me spit out my cheerios😂 I felt that line bruh
The joy you will feel listening to the album in full will open your soul. I think we all wish we could go back in time and hear it again for the first time. The Wish You Were Here album would be a great experience as well!
Absolutely love your PF reactions. You are a true Floydian at heart. You really FEEL them. I get to enjoy your first time experience with these songs. Take me back 50 years to my first time. Love your channel. Floyd on!
Your reaction to this was absolute joy. This album and the Wish you Were Here albums might be some of the greatest experiences whilst taking a trip. 👽See you on the dark side of the moon!
IMO the best album ever made. I'll never forget the first time I heard it 50 years ago. I just sat there stunned by what I had just heard. It changed music forever for me.
It changed music for me, too. GOAT
Totally agree! Nobody can even argue it convincingly ✌️❤
You are spot on the best album period
IMO agree with everything you said 💯💯🎵🎵🌕🌔🌓🌒🙌

The heartbeat is how the album starts & ends, thus you can play it in a permanent loop!!
They are the life blood for me for over fifty years and they are still flowing through my veins
Yes more Pink Floyd at last! Good work. More please. Have a listen to Hey You from The Wall album.
“Grandma” Helene here. Thank you Hector, for the Zeppy and the Floyd recently…….we all appreciate it. And hey……I think you like it too! 😘

Music is art. Floyd is art as opposed to a product, or content. Created as an expression of humanity, rather than just a means to make money.
Pink Floyd are the best band ever, again for a lot of us more than 50yrs, as a teenager Dark side of the Moon poster was on my bedroom wall, I had all of their albums, & I’ve loved David Gilmour since I was 16, I’m 65 now 😳
