I love stretch cotton. They’re super comfy and they have a panel of mesh on the side to help them breathe. This makes them really good for hot weather. They were my best friend when I worked in Florida. The only other kind I’ve tried is driSilque, which I don’t think are as comfy, but the way they’re cut makes them better to wear with certain shirts.
I’m the opposite, I live in New Mexico and endowed a year now and hate the carinessa. I’m full figured and love my stretch cotton! I figured out I needed the top in a tall full bust but regular bottoms. I recommend calling or visiting your distribution center for help.
Hey, Jesse! Christian girl question here 🙋♀️ (not LDS). I love your videos and learning about different cultures/sections of Christianity in general so thanks for all you do! My question is that for some reason I thought garments were not worn during sleep and exercise? Can you shed some light on when garments are worn? Thanks again!
Hey girl! So garments should be worn as much as possible as they are like a sacred clothing for us just as a yamika for the Jewish or a hijab for a Muslim woman. When we take then off though is different and personal for everyone lol we joke about not wearing garments during the 3 S’s: swimming, showering, and sex! Lol it is also very common to not wear them during exercise and sports because they do restrict movement And some people (myself included) don’t like to sweat in them as it’s super hot and I feel it’s disrespectful 😊 hope that answered your question!
@@kaitlinwest2052 Actually, the three S's are swimming, SPORTS, and sex. No one works out with garments on (I'm an avid runner) but the counsel I've heard is to endeavor to change back into your garments as soon as possible. Sometimes that's been hard for me if I run in the morning then head to the grocery store and then get home and clean and am in nasty gym clothes (like all moms LDS or not haha) but that is always the goal. What a respectful question, those not members of our church must wonder so that's so great you asked :)
One thing that no one tells you about garments is how poorly they are often sized. There is not a single size in drisilque that fits me right. Don’t follow the size that they give you at the distribution center, talk to someone who wears the ones you want.
I absolutely love watching your channel. You are kinda like my big sister when it comes to stuff like this and I really appreciate it. I’ve recently submitted my mission papers and all the thoughts of “what do I do once I’m endowed” or “how should I be preparing for my mission” are a lot. I am very grateful for your pearls of wisdom and just your advice about life ❤️
Thank you for this video!!! It came at the perfect time. I'm almost done with my temple prep class, and planning to get endowed soon. This is super helpful, and definitely makes me feel better about going to get my garments. 😊
Change your shirt, darling... you are talking about being comfortable with wearing garments. Constantly figeting with your neckline is distracting and counter-productive.
