I just found seeker VR and I love it
It is a miracle that the various types of different plants species and many different agricultural cultivars, can be stored at temperatures which keep them viable for such lengthy periods. I honestly believe that genetic engineering holds the key to sustainable agricultural production and global food security.

When the end comes there won't be anything or anybody left, that vault is useless
Depends what kind of catastrophe happens. If it is total annihilation, it doesn't matter. But if an asteroid strikes, it could wipe out species in a particular part of the globe, of some crops etc that are imperative for medications etc, that will need urgent regeneration. The vault has seeds of some plants, which are dependant on certain climactic conditions, and can't grow naturally anywhere else on the planet. The seeds can then be grown hydroponically until land becomes fertile enough to reseed.

I wonder how well these seeds would germinate, I had some frozen seed for a herb, and the results were tiny, weak, and eventually died.

You need to do a video on the farmer who voluntary breed and raise certain breed of animals just to keep them in existence. The theory being that the pure breeds would be able to adapt better in the case of weather or war damage to the plant.
When the time comes all will be destroyed above ground, under ground...can't blame them for trying though!

Yes, water encroached 10 meters down the 150 meter tunnel. It normally only encroaches 5-6 meters in. Water is a huge issue due to the poor design, no water trap, no waterproofing etc. and the fact it's right near a bloody lake. But it's never flooded properly. And you'll find that every single seed that is stored there, in the shops, or anywhere on earth is 'GM' because every single plant on earth is genetically modified. Have you seen the original banana? It has seeds. Do you want inedible food? If so, make your own non-GM stuff and go find them in the wild, they're nasty. Otherwise educate yourself on what GM actually is and stop watching conspiracy videos.

Wondering if there are cannabis seed's there
I think it is not an exaggeration to suggest that the future of humanity will be strongly linked to the cannabis plant. Medicine , textiles, oil, food, etc... and easy to grow on large scale or small. Resistant to pests and disease. I think humanity faces some massive challenges at best and cannabis has a role to play in our survival.
I myself have the seeds to plant a spring garden of high CBD super low THC plants to make CBD medicine for myself and my friends and family. Currently CBD medicine is quite expensive but the reality is that it could be produced very inexpensively on a home garden scale.

It's medicinal value is near zero (contrary to what the pot industry in the US tells you, it is barely above placebo in most tests, and can worsen many kinds of pain), it's usage for textiles is worthless as cotton, wool, and synthetics are vastly superior, it's usage for oil or fuel is redundant as sugar beet trumps everything there (and for plant oil there's enough surplus wastage to use of non food grade olive etc oils) and food, yeah no.
I don't want to eat nasty stringy bloody plants of no nutritional value compared to even a potato that no one has ever willingly eaten in history except to get high. It's not resistant to anything more than current industry standard plants. CBD is snake oil and has no efficacy studies showing any benefit, it's just pot dealers making hash and selling you their left over wastage with a story that it's helpful. If CBD can 'fix' anything then it wasn't a real problem to begin with and literal placebo would have the same effect.

What is with the comments on this video? The reason there are so many seeds is so they can have a sample for each type of plant large enough that if they ever need to replant them there will be enough viable seeds left to create a growing plant population. It's not some rich dude hiding 12 million potatoes in his basement, even with these seeds out of circulation there is still food enough for the rest of the world (distribution, as always, is the real problem). As for why it's located where it is, it's unlikely that war will break out there, it's high enough that even if the oceans rise it will not flood, and even if the power shuts off it will still be cold enough to keep everything below freezing unless the global temperatures rise significantly. The seeds distributed to Syria prove that the method works. And yeah, if there is some sort of worldwide disaster and we suddenly need those seeds to survive, the rich will most likely get first access, but it's not the bank's fault, it's the individual governments that the seeds would be disbursed to.
