Dad is a lot nicer than I would be, thats for sure. I'd have been honest with them too; told them I would beat their worthless brats so badly they would never walk or talk properly again, with absolutely no regrets. And after I'd calmly wait for the police to arrive, smile and wave at the judge as I plead guilty, and sit in my prison cell with a smile, knowing those 2 little shits weren't going to bother anyone again.

As a DM in session zero I make it clear I don't tolerate sexual harassment or romance subplots and will kick people. My current group is awesome and if anyone touched our tiefling barbarian they'd be kicked - A warning happens if I think they are veering off the path. No tolerance otherwise.

  • @сільськаприбахана

Story 3: they acted like probably would my classmates... when they was around 14-16
It still was a crap, but it was at least with one more explanation than "those guys are jerks"
+they were blaming her in ruining their game, when they basically ruined hers, not only harassing, but not letting her do anything... which is a whole point of DnD - do stuff while being your character

I think the words "Fatphobic" and "Fatphobia" are stupid because of how it's used by most people, but the people making fun of the girl for trying to lose weight are absolute jerks.
She's trying to play basketball, a sport that requires you to move around a lot- in other words- EXERCISE! For me, I had to get into a sport to get active because I started, really liked it and chose later on to get in better shape to continue it. Everyone starts somewhere and if you're judging someone at their first steps, when their confidence is at it's lowest, you're a piece of garbage. It makes it so much worse that the girl is 9 years old and both older kids and their parents thought it was fine to make fun of her for it.
Also I really hope the dad can fight to get a better custody agreement with the wife because it's so messed up that the girl isn't properly being taken care of at her mom's place.

Dnd player AND dungeon master here. Yeah, the OP of Story 3 did the right thing. Some things are supposed to be expected, such as “Don’t harrass a character or the player”. It shouldn’t NEED to be talked about. And if people are doing it, leaving is the best thing sometimes. This story falls under “RPGHorrorStories” which is full of similar situations. I had SEVERAL of my own at a table online including sexual harassment of my gay character (which in turn made me, a Bi player who prefers men over women, VERY uncomfortable). I didn’t do it in the middle of session like OP did, but I left that table without saying a word after a year and a half as a player so I could get my mental health fixed, and stop enduring that harrassment.

I have to say I have a problem just with an answer between two different stories and I know it seems like I’ve been picking any comments lately and I’m sorry about that but the one where the girl left the dungeons and dragons game because she felt harassed The narrator said she was kind of the jerk in that one. I don’t agree with that one but then in the story where the guy decides the cat called two girls out of the window of the car. Yes, the guy cat calling out the window. The narrator called a jerk that, but for me that was basically what the other guys in the dungeons and dragons story was doing to the girl and she laughed and she got called a jerk for it. I just felt that was a little unfair.
With the last story also, we don’t know that how did the guy said is that a euphemism for being a lady of the night because there are people order our sugar daddies where the people they’re paying isn’t sleeping like that I’ve heard of some just paying to have someone to talk to so it’s not always the case the person is sleeping with the sugar daddy

As a female would also plays DnD: No you are not the Jerk. I am also the only girl in the group and I have never been treated this way. Having the characters date is a bit of a faux pas in general. But this type of behavior is completely unacceptable anywhere. Don't let this ruin the game. A proper group is super fun but it can be an adventure in and of itself. Defeat the trolls and move on.

Punk bully story. In a perfect world Op would grab one of the punks and beat the father with him then grab the other one and beat the mother with him. Then get to play horse with his daughter. Sadly I think if OP would have hit the punks father they would have called the cops

For the last one just because she has a sugardaddy don’t mean she’s sleeping with them you must not know very much to be so ignorant most guys just want someone to spoil

The last story really rubs me the wrong way. They offered to pay and the friend thanked them and said she got it. It should have stopped there. But they go "That's interesting" like they're mocking her. Sugar babies and Daddies are more than transactions. There has to be an actual relationship built on trust and communication. We don't know if she said it in a joking or serious way, but either way, that was a disgustingly low blow cause at the end of the day, she was polite and honest and they just attacked her. Heaven forbid she let them pay and they make comments about her having no money/job. OP is a jerk.

Story 3: No i think the guys were the jerks 100%. They should know what is and isnt appropriate when the opposite gender is in attendance. IF they wanted a character romance they should have asked you beforehand and its your character not theirs so whatever you decide to do shouldnt be a discussion outside of a confirmation and how do you want to do the action.

Almost 19 minutes in yeah I wouldn’t think you did anything wrong but yeah, may be a little overreaction, but I don’t know what the past traumas you were talking about are so I don’t know, but I would say take back the like mother-in-law and forgive her, but have a conversation about it

"You could have talked to them first" might be the dumbest take I've heard from you. JFC.
