    Great job with this video Eloise :-). I've only been competitively shooting for less than a year, and your son's videos have helped me tremendously. I love watching his videos, and it really inspires me to do well and shoot better. I hope to be as good as him one day :-). Thank you so much for sharing his work.

    Excellent camera work and editing! And obviously unbelievable shooting from Vogeltron.
    His recoil control is unreal

      All due to added weight by the muzzle area, but even with weights etc he’s an amazing talented shooter

    Is the "leg lift" a practical shooting skill I should incorporate early on? Seems like I should prioritize leg lifts before dry fire practice. The beauty is, this can be done at work, the grocery store, laundry mat, dentist waiting room, etc.

      Can't be 100% sure but I think he is shooting limited and 17L would be at disadvantage with minor scoring. It can't be production because of the counter weight under the gun. (Not sure about USPSA Production rules)

      Nope, it’s 9mm major. That’s essentially a 40s&w out of a 9mm gun. If you don’t have an upgraded barrel you will blow up your gun inside of 2-3,000rds possibly sooner.

      @@john-paulsilke893 i'm pretty sure thats his 35 in limited. So thats .40. In USPSA production he is shooting the 34 9mm, or 17 in IPSC.

    But they are using reduced load ammo.

    • @john-paulsilke893
      @john-paulsilke893 5 років тому +6

      Racer X nope, they have to make power factor. That’s 3 gun that has pud load pistols. Also crazy open division race guns are often shoot pud loads. In this event he has to make power close to .40 S&W or 9mm major.

    • @John1911
      @John1911 5 років тому +3

      John-Paul Silke if a race gun is using a muzzle device to mitigate muzzle flip, the ammo has to produce enough gas pressure to make use of that.
      Not all open guns can be assumed to run significantly downloaded ammo.
