- On June 8th, 2013 Jay set up an elaborate scavenger hunt all around Austin, Texas. Mary Beth assumed everyone was celebrating her birthday, until the very end where Jay proposes, but the surprises don't end there.
Jay proposes to Mary Beth in one of the best, most elaborate marriage proposals ever.

i thought this was adorable!! I mean really... he made sure she had a perfect day from start to finish. yeah, she probably had an idea it was coming, but at least he made the effort to make sure she had a great girls day of shopping, getting her hair and makeup done, and made sure she had her nails did before hand (a must!!) then after the proposal, surprised her with a party with all their friends and family. I think this is perfect!
And yet you don't see how fake it is... must be american.

When I saw her crying while he proposed her, I just started crying... What a sweet way of showing someone you love him/her.

Been there, we all have. I am sure it was THOSE heels. New and just not broke in yet. I was so uncomfortable and wincing for her...bless her heart she finally grabbed some relief in the flip flops.

Everytime I watch proposals, that are filmed that well, I wonder who filmed this and why the bride doesn't think there must be coming something like this :D .. Aaand... Everyone I know, who would be filmed like that would be hiding herself in front of the camera...

All these type of proposals are making it predictable for future couples. Any time a female has to go ona treasure hunt or solve a long line of riddles they are just going to straight away think "Oh he is going to propose at the end of this" lol.
